Honest Review of BBIT – My Experience in CSE (Batch 2028).
Placements: They focus on practical learning along with theory. Placements are promising. Seniors from CSE have received packages up to 27 LPA, and the average salary is around 5-7 LPA. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Accenture visit the campus. Internships start from the 3rd year, but more opportunities would be great.
Infrastructure: I am currently pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science at BBIT and will pass out in 2028. So far, my experience has been great. The infrastructure is excellent, with modern classrooms, fully equipped labs, a huge library, strong Wi-Fi, and digital facilities. The hostel is clean and safe with good food. The campus is green and peaceful.
Faculty: Semester exams are of moderate difficulty if you attend classes and follow the syllabus. Internal assessments and practicals are given good weightage, so regular study is enough to score well. The college conducts mid-semester tests and labs, which help in preparation.

It is a good college with a low budget in the current situation.
Placements: The placement rate of our department is quite good, but the overall placement rate is not good. I am currently in my second year. The highest salary package offered by Wipro is around 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. The top role offered is a software engineer.
Infrastructure: The hostel is not very good. The environment may not be suitable for all students, as most residents are from Bihar. The quality of the food is not very good. There have been instances where unexpected items are found in the meals. One thing that is good about the hostel is its sports side. Regular practice is given by some seniors. The gym and swimming pool are available on the campus.
Faculty: Some teachers come from top institutes like IIEST, NIT, and IIT. Some of them have friendly personalities. The difficulty level of the semester exams is average. Currently, I am in my second year, and the pass percentage is around 60%. The course curriculum is not very relevant.
Other: Since higher secondary school, I have developed an interest in exploring the technical field related to the universe. I want to focus on the first-year subjects, mainly basic electrical engineering and workshops. The festival called Mangus is intense and crowded. It is organised by Jimsh and BBIT together.

Before 2019, it was among the top 10 colleges.
Placements: Placement is not that good. Most of the core bunch jobs are good here. But the placement of CST, etc., is not good. The average salary is Rs. 15,000 monthly in hand. This is for Diploma students, and no big companies come. A normal, average type of companies come here for placements.
Infrastructure: Good college for infrastructure. I must admit that the infrastructure of the college is very nice. You will be impressed by what you see. There is Wi-Fi, and the labs and classrooms are big enough. The hostel rooms are very nice, but there is an issue with the food.
Faculty: Faculty here is very good. Most of them here are Ph.D holders. They are very skilled and they motivate students. Industrial tours are conducted here so that students get more exposure of the industry. Semester exams are at a tough level, so be very careful with your studies.
Other: There are fests organised on very big scale and celebrities like Honey Singh, Badshah, Ayushmann Khurrana, etc., are invited.

If you want to study in an average college at a very low cost, you can come to this college.
Placements: 55 percent of students are placed in our course per year. The highest package is approx 12 LPA, the lowest is 1.5 LPA, and the average is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, IBM, Accenture, etc. 10 percent of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are clean and tidy. The library is very big, and Wi-Fi is available in the library. Students can easily study during break time. The food quality in the hostel is not good, but the canteen food quality is okay. There is a big playground where everyone, from juniors to seniors, plays cricket, volleyball, football, etc. So, the infrastructure of our college is relatively good.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, and many are not. Some teachers are from NIT and IIEST, and the quality of teaching is not so good. The course curriculum is relevant, and this course is very necessary for software development jobs. There are two semesters in one year, and the semester exams are hard. The passing percentage of the semester is 60%.
Other: This course is very necessary for the IT industry, and the demand for this course is increasing in the future. For this course, students have to learn C++, Python, web development, DSA, etc. Many events occur, like inter-college hackathons, Teacher's Day, Freshers Party, etc. In our college fest, many different college students participate in many competitions like cricket, badminton, volleyball, football, and other sports. Many celebrities have come, like Ayushmann Khurrana, Badshah, Honey Singh.
