The MAT 2026 May session registrations have started for admission to the MBA course. For the PBT mode, the registration deadline is May 25, 2026, with the exam scheduled for May 31, 2026. For the CBT mode, the last date to register is Jun 8, 2026, for the exam taking place on Jun 14, 2026.
A few more updates are given below:
- The CMAT 2026 result has been declared for admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS courses. Students can download their scorecards by logging into the official website.
- The CUET PG 2026 results have been released for admission to various PG-level courses. The counselling schedule will be out soon.
- The CAT 2026 registration is expected to start in the Aug, 2026 for admission to the MBA course.
- The OJEE 2026 exam has been conducted for admission to the BTech, BPharma, MBA, and MCA programmes. The results are expected to be out by Jun, 2026.
- The ATMA 2026 July session registrations have started for admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS courses. The last date to register is Jun 30, 2026, with the exam being scheduled for Jul 12, 2026.

It was established by the Government of Odisha in 1981 to meet the growing technical manpower need in the state. It was a constituent college of the Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology, Bhubaneswar since inception, and after the creation of a Technical University for Odisha State, the College became a Constituent College of Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha with effect in 2002. The Government of Odisha has granted unitary university status to OUTR. Therefore, Odisha University of Technology and Research is a public/government institute.

- Medhabruti Scholarship: This scholarship is given by the government of Odisha to all those candidates who belong to Odisha only. Candidate must have secured a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate in Class 12. The merit list will be based on the rank secured in the entrance examination only in respect of prestigious national-level government colleges. The candidate should not receive any other scholarship and combined parental income should be less than INR 6 lakh per annum
- Merit Scholarship: This scholarships is offered to meritorious students on the basis of their academic scores.
