Other: The college provides a great deal to learn for a student and improve themselves in terms of academically and socially. The college is one of the most reputed college in the state. High speed Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs and a good library are some of its good points. Cultural activities are also encouraged. There are some major drawbacks as well. The infrastructure is improving (which was quite necessary) and would be really helpful for the students. More efficient faculty members are required and more exposure should be provided to the students in terms of competitions and extracurricular.

College of Engineering and Technology, Biju Patnaik University of Technology is a good college.
Placements: Almost 100% placements are provided by college depending upon the criteria. Top recruiting companies are Arvind and Vardhaman. For internships, it depends on the type of work a student wants to do. Roles offered are mainly production marketing retail and merchandise.
Infrastructure: Our department has good facilities, yet we need more infrastructure to build on. I am a day scholar, so I don't know about the hostel. The food served is average, and medical facilities are available 24x7. The hostel is secured with security.
Faculty: We have well-educated faculty members from different renowned institutions. Teaching quality is very good. The course makes students industry-ready as we are fashion engineers. So the basic thing we start learning is from a technical point of view.
Other: I chose this course because I have seen an aesthetic engineer in me.
