- The CMAT 2026 result has been declared for admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS courses. Students can download their scorecards by logging into the official website.
- The MAH MBA CET 2026 registration period is now over for admission to the MBA/MMS courses. The session 1 exam will be conducted tentatively from Apr 6 to Apr 8, 2026, and the session 2 exam will be held on May 9, 2026(Tentative).
- The CAT 2026 registration is expected to start in the Aug, 2026 for admission to the MBA course.

Yes, the College of Engineering Pune (COEP) accepts the scorecard of JEE-Main. But the majority of seats are sanctioned for Maharashtra domicile students and are filled through MHT-CET. National Institute of Technology (NITs) are most prestigious engineering college after Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). The standard of education is very high in NITs because students that help students in developing in inculcating various technical as well as theoretical skills required to be a top class engineer. Also, the computer engineering department of NIT is very well-equipped with top faculty members and different coding clubs, which helps computer Science students become very well versed with the latest technologies required by the IT or software industry. Although COEP is also a top government engineering college that has become an autonomous university with a good education quality and placement, it can’t be compared with NIT in any parameters.

COEP offers a two-year M.Tech course across 20 specialisations. These are Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Structural Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automotive Technology, Project Management, Construction Management, Design Engineering, Mechatronics, etc. All of these courses are taught through several department at COEP.
For candidates willing to take admission in the College of Engineering Pune (COEP) they have to follow these steps which are given below: -
- Interested candidates have to take the GATE (Gratitude Aptitude Test in Engineering) exam which is conducted by any one of IITs. GATE is a computer-based examination (CBT) whose duration is 3 hours.
- After this, the candidates will get their ranks based on their scores/marks in their GATE exams.
- Finally, the College of Engineering Pune (COEP) released its merit list and if the candidate rank is within the range specified by the college, the candidate becomes eligible for further process of admission at COEP.
COEP Technological University (Formerly known as COEP) mainly intake admission through MHT-CET. The eligibility criteria laid down by MHT-CET for BTech is that the candidate should have passed class 12 or SSC or Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 45% aggregate.
COEP also inducts students through JEE-Main, for which additionally 25% of seats are reserved for All India Candidates (apart from Maharashtra domicile candidates), and there is no minimum percentage in class 12 required to take the JEE-Main entrance exam.
