Satisfied with my experience at CET, and students can get a good and knowledgeable experience here.

Placements: Our branch is one of the most misunderstood branches which has a high potential in the global stage amongst the non circuit branches and the past batch got a placement rate of around 75-80% where they are placed in top firms like TCS, Tata Elxsi, JSW, UST Global, Nissan as a graduate trainee role with about a package of 20 LPA. Internships are provided by top industrial-based companies and have also been an integral part in the placement process, like Accenture, Nissan, HLL Lifecare, Ashok Leyland, and other startups or automotive companies that offer operations work, which can upskill the knowledge in AutoCAD, Solidworks, Matlab, and other necessary skills.

Infrastructure: There is a department library and a general library, where we can get access to multiple books, and generally for reading or studying sessions. There is an IT lab in the department and a CCF (central computing facility) in the mechanical department equipped with AC and computing facilities. Facilities in the Hostel are pretty good, and there is a good environment generally. The mess food is also generally nice and costs around Rs. 3,000 per month with both non-vegetarian and vegetarian food. There is a sports team in games like basketball, football, softball, badminton, cricket, volleyball, table tennis, etc., and it has achieved great results.

Faculty: Teachers are pretty knowledgeable and friendly most of the time. Some teachers are good at delivering the content. The course curriculum is relevant, and it covers main topics like operations management, finance, mechanical topics, quality control, etc. The pass percentage is good, and above 90% most of the time.

Other: I chose this course because of the combination of studying mechanical topics with topics of business administration, which can lead to more placement opportunities with the knowledge and presentation side of the ideas and knowledge. It can lead to higher positions in a firm and lead to a general manager or even higher positions with experience. We study how to manage the firm with the knowledge of the mechanical side of things.

Best in Kerala. If you need a college with the best in study and college life, join.

Placements: Around 60 percent of students in our course are placed in our college. Around 25 LPA is the highest and 6 LPA is the lowest, with an average of 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Shoba Construction, Renault, etc. Around 50 percent of students got internships in companies like Cochin Shipyard, etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in every classroom. The infrastructure of the classrooms is of high quality. There are more than 5 computer labs and also a library which contains more than 1 lakh books, useful for studying and referring to any engineering topic you need and excel in.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable, but the quality of teaching is average. It's like, if you need to understand the topic, you should self-learn it. The main intention of attending the class is attendance. Yes, our course is a good course, which is not only engineering but also management, making our course a better deal. Our semester exams are moderate, and our college has a decent pass percentage, i.e., above 87 percent.

Other: Our course is entirely different from other courses and is comparatively simple and job-oriented. By completing the course, I think I can improve my skills in management and improve my career. When talking about events, our college is one of the best. Our cultural festival, Dhwani, is one of the best in the state, and the technical festival, Drishti, is also great. There are a lot of extracurricular activities for those interested in each field.

The college and its programmes always gets me engaged.

Placements: The packages aren't bad, and last year many seniors got placed. This year, however, fewer students were placed than last year. Some seniors were even placed in their third year. Although the number of companies recruiting for our course is lower, most placements are in software and office jobs.

Infrastructure: Our department has a separate new block, but it is not fully functional yet. Some classes are held in the new block, and some in the mechanical block, since our department is a branch of the mechanical department. There are plenty of facilities in our college, including a wide variety of labs that are always functional, and clubs to encourage any kind of aspiration. The hostels are not bad, providing minimal facilities and a minimal feel. The college supports all co-curricular activities and encourages sports, with a physical department that includes a gym, courts, and other facilities. There is also a canteen that serves affordable food.

Faculty: The faculty members are well educated and have high qualification profiles. They are well versed in their subjects and teach well. The curriculum is based on Kalam Technical University and is quite relevant. Exams are often conducted and evaluated, and the pass percentage for our course is pretty high. With consistent study, students should be able to score good grades.

Other: I chose this college and this course because of the reputation of the college, not because of the course itself. But now I don't regret my choice. The course is going to have a good impact on my future. Coming to the cultural programs at our college, CET is well known for its technical and cultural fest. You'll never get bored here if you have friends to hang out with.

Review of College of Engineering, Trivandrum.

Placements: College of Engineering, Trivandrum, has the best placement list in Kerala. Each and every department has core company placements. Comparatively, the Computer Science department has higher package offers. The highest placement in the academic year 2023 is 15 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college is large compared to other colleges in Kerala. It is one of the richest in lab equipment and facilities. The college also has a large library, open to everyone, and provides hostel accommodations for both men and women at a nominal rate.

Faculty: Teachers are good and have proper knowledge about our topics. The syllabus is a little bit old, but now a new scheme has been installed for new students. The pass percentage is average because many have a lazy mindset and are not working properly. Semester exams may be difficult, but they may not be too difficult.

Yeah, in past years, some bad incidents happened, and the faculty was not too good.

Placements: IT companies are coming, but core companies compare lesser. The 2022 batch had a good number of placements (50+), but in the 2023 batch, it decreased significantly to less than the past one. The highest package is 13 LPA, the lowest is 3.5/4 LPA, and the average is 7 LPA. The main focus of our course is in the management field, like banks and supply chain.

Infrastructure: We have a fantastic group of faculty and labs. As a day scholar, I don't know much about hostel matters, but the college working hours are from 9 AM to 9 PM, so we can do our work even after class hours. Labs are open, and we can take books from the library. The food in the hostel is good, and even others love to have it.

Other: The campus is very good for getting to know each other and interacting with others.

The College of Engineering.

Placements: In my class, there are 70 students present. The minimum average package offered here is 7 LPA. More than 200 companies participated in the 2023 placements, offering about 2200 jobs. The highest package offered was 33 LPA. Top companies like KPMG, Adobe, Capgemini, and other various companies participated.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of CET includes a large library, gym, and many other recreational facilities like a large sports complex. It covers nearly 190 acres. Actually, I am staying in a private hostel, not in the college hostel. The food is not bad compared to other hostels.

Faculty: As it is a technical college, it consists of 8 semesters, 2 per year. The faculty members present here are among the best in the state. They are very friendly and help in shaping the skills of students respectively. The pass percentage is about 50%. The written exam is for 100 marks, and internal assessment is about 50 marks.

Other: As I wish to study abroad, such as in Dubai and elsewhere, there is great scope in such places. Moreover, there are campus placements for our branch every year. The college conducts both cultural and technical fests which are among the best in South India. All external and internal scholarships provided by the government are accepted here.

Our college has good faculty members.

Placements: Our college provides good placements. Almost 80% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest package salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting core companies are KPMG, MRF, Kantar analytics, Varroc, Latent view Analytics, SmartLink's, SBI, etc. Top recruiting IT companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBS, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college has one of the best lab facilities in Kerala. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. The library is spacious in our college. Classrooms are in good condition. Our college gives a lot of importance to sports. Our college provides us with the best sports facilities. A huge indoor stadium is available for badminton, and table tennis. A separate playground is available for cricket, basketball, football, volleyball, etc.

Faculty: Professors are well-qualified. Almost all professors are Ph.D. holders. Most of them are alumni of IITs. The course curriculum is good. The pass percentage is very high for CET. Exams are common for all students under Kerala Technical University.

Other: Almost all students studying in this college got at least one scholarship. Dhwani and dristi fests are conducted in our college. Our college has many clubs.

Our college has a good ambiance and provides good placements.

Placements: Almost 70% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 7.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA by Chain Analytics. Top recruiting companies are Kantar Analytics, Chain Analytics, Deloitte, etc. About 30% of students got internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: Every department has its building which has Wi-Fi, labs, and a library. Our college provides a separate hostel for boys and girls with a mess facility. Our college has an indoor stadium, a basketball court, a cricket net, and a playground. A doctor is available in our college for any medical emergencies.

Faculty: Our professors are well-qualified. They have good knowledge of all subjects. Their teaching quality is up to the mark. The course curriculum is revised regularly and includes more practical aspects. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 94%.
