Here is a brief information about DSCE.

Placements: Placements are decent with the highest package of 53 LPA and the average package of 9-10 LPA. All decent companies are coming to the campus for placement and internship. Almost 80% of students are being placed and are expecting better placements in the upcoming years.

Infrastructure: All facilities are good and the infrastructure is amazing, including glass finishing. All departments have well-organized and maintained separate buildings. Classes are good and the library is awesome, which is one of the best libraries in Bangalore, including thousands of e-books.

Faculty: All the facilities are good and helpful. They are always available for students. The curriculum is a bit outdated. They take three internals every semester. Also, there are many assignments, labs, and projects. Scoring in exams is easy, but you have to be familiar with the marking scheme.

Fun crowd, beautiful campus, crazy fests but poor faculty.

Placements: Around 80 percent of the students were placed in my course, with the highest LPA being 24 LPA and an average of 6 LPA, the lowest being 3 LPA. Main recruiters are Cognizant, TCS, and Capgemini. Around 40-50 percent got internships from Salesforce, Microsoft, etc. UX UI intern, data analyst, and software engineer are top roles.

Infrastructure: The classrooms were average, and there were no air conditioners, but they did have Wi-Fi. The labs and libraries were very good. The college also focused a lot on cultural activities and sports, such as cricket and basketball. The food in the hostel was the worst, but the food in the canteens was not bad.

Faculty: Most of the teachers were knowledgeable but lacked teaching skills. However, they provided us with adequate study materials and organized seminars and hands-on experiences to make us industry-ready. The semester-end exams were easy, and the college had a 90 percent passing percentage.

Other: I chose this course because I find design to be a really fun and interesting subject. I especially like the FSUI and UX/UI courses, which are very beautiful subjects. However, I think one thing that could be improved are the teachers, as they don't teach very well. On the other hand, the fests, events, and crowd are absolutely amazing.

It is an avg college you can join, the infrais more like a Mysore palace .

Placements: Here, you can expect a minimum package of 6 LPA and a maximum of 20 LPA. You have the maximum probability of getting placed, so don't worry, just take admission here and have fun. The college boasts the best level of library system, so it's worth the fees. If you get a rank of around 20,000 in KCET, you have a chance to join.

Infrastructure: Here, you can access unlimited data through Wi-Fi, but you will not be able to connect to your cellular data. You have to connect to the college Wi-Fi to access the internet. You can also have hostel facilities by paying a fee of 198,000. Just join the college, but you can't SEE too many snack shops like that.

Faculty: This college is autonomous, so it is pretty good. The college will only set the question paper because it is autonomous; the paper-setting level is medium, and we can access the study material uploaded in the student ERP. The lectures are also well-experienced.

Other: The average fee paid here is 150,000, where I joined through KCET, and the college also conducted an entrance test where the refund facility can be seen.

I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: Placements are average. The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA. The average salary pacakge offered was 7.5 LPA. Internships are also offered by Pega Group.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good. Our department building is new, and Wi-Fi is available on campus. Laboratory is well-equipped. It also provides a huge library, and several books are available. There are 60 students in our classrooms. Hostel rooms are big, and there are two boys' hostels that are Sardar Patel House and NRI Hostel. Around 4 students can share each room in Sardar Patel house, and the NRI hostel has 2 sharing rooms. Girl hostel also has 4 sharing rooms. The hostel has a Wi-Fi facility. The food quality is not good. Sports facilities are better. It also has a football ground, and we can play cricket, volleyball, and basketball. Intra-college and inter-college competitions are also conducted in our college.

Faculty: Teachers are not good in our college. Few of them are Ph.D. scholars. If we want to pass, we have to study ourselves on YouTube. Our course curriculum is good, and makes students ready for the industry. The teaching method is not good. The passing percentage is 80%. If we study properly then we can pass easily.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. This course helps us to gather knowledge about game development like AR, VR, UI, and UX. Events and extracurricular activities are conducted. Vibration and Furore are the two big fests in this college. Our campus crowd is good. Our college does not provide any scholarships for COMEDK students, but they provide for KCET students.

DSCE is not the best but better than tier 2 colleges.

Placements: Placements are high compared to other colleges (not the top three) as it comes under the tier 1 category but only for some selected courses like CSE, ISE, and ECE. In the previous year, the highest salary package offered was 40 LPA. The average salary package offered for CSE and ISE was around 9 LPA. AI and ML, and CSD are like sub courses to CSE and students have been seated for placements along with CSE students because the curriculum is almost similar. If you got a very good rank in CET or COMEDK and if you want to join this college for good placements then choose the above courses that I mentioned. Placements are not good for other courses as I heard from seniors. Don't join by paying a huge amount in name of donations. You will definitely regret I promise. They charge you more. If you don't have any other option and if you are able to pay a huge amount, better find other good colleges which do ask for more donations but slightly more than DSCE, and studying there feel worth.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure looks good and better than many other colleges. Most of the buildings are glass-covered so they look so modern. Many goes for photoshoots on campus. I'm mentioning this for you to understand how good the campus looks. In our classroom, 2 out of 4 fans don't work. Not only in our class but in other classrooms too. The authority at least reacts to this. Washrooms are good and are regularly maintained. The library has a wide variety of books and it is huge but to make use of it, you need to pay more than Rs.2000 as a deposit which will be returned later. We have only 1 ground which is a football ground where all sports are played. There is 1 good sized tennis court and a basketball court accompanies it. No other grounds are available. There is no cricket ground which has to be specially mentioned. No one actually plays football so everyone plays cricket on the football ground itself. There are 2 hostels for NRI and Indian students. Everyone who stays in the hostel suggests others join PG or private hostels outside. Because they charge you like some rich businessman. The hostel fee is Rs.183000 for NRI and Rs.153000 for Indians. They are increasing by Rs.15000 every year. I don't stay in the hostel so I don't want to mention about the hostel facilities but I suggest thinking practically. Paying for a college hostel per year, you can't stay in PG's for almost 2 years.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are the best I like to mention after placements. Almost every professor is good to students and they don't treat you like an adult which is the best part. They almost spoon feed you. Not everyone but almost. They wanted to help you and that intent can be clearly seen. In the B.Tech course, it is not about curriculum. I don't say the curriculum is poor but if you wanted a good job, you should go other than the curriculum a lot.

Other: Campus life is not so good. You feel like fests are happening just for formality. Sports meet is yet to come. If it gets over, I will update my review. I suggest not to come to this college with some high expectations. But I suggest you join this college if you want placements.
