The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT) are as follows:

• Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognised as equivalent thereto, with 45% marks in Mathematics separately and 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) .

• Candidates must qualify for the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) exam.

The mode of Federal Institute of Science and Technology course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The easiest BTech specialisation to secure admission is B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.
