A safe, lively and value-for-money college with good faculty and active campus life.

Placements: In our course, around 60–70 percent of students get placed every year. The highest package goes up to around 18–20 LPA, while the average lies between 5–6 LPA, and the lowest is usually around 3 LPA. Major recruiters include Deloitte, EY, KPMG, Accenture, Wipro, Tata, and a few good startups that offer internship-cum-job roles. Almost 40 percent of students also get internships in companies like Teach For India, NGOs, marketing agencies, and ed-techs. The top roles offered are HR associate, analyst, content roles, marketing roles, and finance associate. Overall, placements are decent, especially if you are active in societies and have good communication skills.

Infrastructure: Gargi College has a clean and well-maintained campus with good Wi-Fi, spacious classrooms, and properly equipped labs for science courses. The library is one of the best parts, quiet, airy, and with a wide collection of books. There is no hostel, but PGs nearby are easily available. Canteen food is decent and affordable. The medical room is functional, and the sports ground is also well maintained. Overall, the infrastructure is not fancy, but it is comfortable and student-friendly.

Faculty: The faculty in Gargi is generally very supportive, well-qualified, and experienced. Most teachers explain concepts clearly and are approachable outside class too. The curriculum is updated and relevant, especially after the NEP changes. It prepares students well for higher studies and industry exposure. Exams are moderate, neither too easy nor too difficult. If you attend classes and study regularly, clearing exams is not a problem. The pass percentage is good for most courses.

Other: I chose this course because of Gargi’s good reputation and active campus environment. The best things about the college are the supportive faculty, vibrant societies, safe campus, and overall positive atmosphere. I wish the campus had a hostel facility and slightly more modern infrastructure, but apart from that, college life here is very enriching. There are many events, workshops, competitions, and fests throughout the year which keep the campus lively.

What I Wish I Knew: A Review of Gargi College.

Placements: Placements were offered for the B.Com. course students, not for B.Sc. students. The college offers a good package to B.Com. students. The famous Urvashi Rautela has done her college from Gargi University. Approximately 8 Lacs package is offered to the students. Most of the students get good placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was pretty good, but it could have been better with more area. Facilities are very good there, the library is well-cleaned, and it has Wi-Fi and MacBooks for students so they can study there. It has all types of books related to every course. Labs were well maintained, and the teachers at the science labs are very experienced. Gargi College does not provide any hostel. You have to stay in a PG.

Faculty: Teachers were qualified there and had a lot of experience. They teach very effectively and take extra classes also if students have any doubts. They can go and ask. Teaching quality is 9/10. Semester exams are not that much difficult if you have attended the lectures properly and solved previous year's questions.

Other: Gargi College is known best for its science department, which is why I chose B.Sc. there. Chemistry and physics labs were very good there, and teachers were very passionate about teaching students. The campus offers a fest at the time of Diwali and in February. The crowd there was good, with well-behaved students from different parts of India.

Placements, faculty, and infrastructure- everything is good.

Placements: We can say that there are average students who are placed in this course because students with a science background have fewer chances of being placed. Yes, we can say that those who have excellent communication skills got internships at marketing and research companies. And the companies are the D.E. Show Group, Accenture, Wipro, Zomato, Grofers, In Shots, NIIT, and Urban Clap. These are the companies that come to Gargi College. The highest package is 15.20 lacs, the lowest is 4.75 lacs, and the average is 5.35 lacs. For B.Sc. physical science, 30 to 40 percent of students got placed.

Infrastructure: The hostel is not there at Gargi College. Wi-Fi is only available in labs. Classrooms are good; in every class, there is a projector, which helps students increase their confidence by giving presentations easily. Mostly every book is available in the library, and ACs are also there. The canteen is good and affordable. There is also a medical room. And sports opportunities are also there at Gargi College.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers are best in the course. The Chemistry Department is the best department in Gargi College's Science Faculty. And also, we can say that the math department is also good so the teachers are the best. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant and also makes the students industry-ready. If they study well, they can gain a better SGPA in semester exams, and their pass percentage is 40% in practicals and 40% in theory.

Other: This course is best for me because I am not sure which subject I can choose in physics, chemistry, or math, and we can do M.Sc. in our interested subject. No improvement needed in my course. Events and fests are amazing. Reverie, the annual fest and Zistatva Diwali Fest are just awesome. But we can say that the campus crowd is average. The campus surroundings are good; scholarships are there and there are many extracurricular activities at Gargi College.

Faculty: Teachers are very well-qualified and helpful. The teaching quality is very good. They solve all our doubts. The course is good. Students can have their future in the research and education sector. Exams are moderate. The pass percentage of our course is 95%.

Our college is good in terms of fests, activities, and teachers.

Placements: Around 47 students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is more than 1 LPA. The top role offered is a teacher. After completing this course, we can join the defense force line.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in labs. We have a physics lab, a chemistry lab, a zoology lab, a botany lab, etc. Our college has many classrooms, staff rooms, and offices. The library has many facilities. Our canteen provides a variety of food items.

Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified. All of them are not helpful. Our course is a bit difficult. We have 7 subjects in total. We have practical exams. Our teachers conduct viva. Exams are a bit difficult for average students. The course includes maths, physics, and chemistry.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to join the teaching line. Our college conducts fests on time.

Interested candidates have to register online with required information. Non-refundable online registration fee is a mandate without which candidate’s application would not be considered for further processing.
