Haldia, a place of education.

Placements: Placements of the college are too good with all big recruiting companies like Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Haldia Petrochemicals, Exide, Adani Wilmar, etc. The highest package for 2024 is 33 lakhs, and the average is 6.75 lakhs. More than 90% of students are placed in top MNCs and core companies. Internships are also provided by the college.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are equipped with all basic amenities like digital classrooms and AC. The college has all labs required for B. Tech. The library is too big with lakhs of books from all departments. There are 3 canteens in the college with good food serving. Sports are the best here because of the biggest campus after IIT Kharagpur.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are postgraduates from IITs, NITs, and BITS. They provide good educational resources. Exams are easy if you attend all lectures of faculty members. They also provide notes in online format for exams. Teaching quality is too good. Exams are on time here.

Other: Civil Engineering is going to be the top branch in the coming decades because of the need for good architecture. Civil Engineering deals with modern infrastructure problems. Haldia Institute of Technology is known for its core branch. Placements and internship opportunities are excellent here.

Placements: Placements are above average at HIT Haldia for both core and non-core branches. Many reputed recruiters visit the campus, offering good packages. Companies like Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Exide, L&T, and Asian Paints are some of the top recruiters. The placement cell is very active in organizing job drives and internships for the students.

Infrastructure: The campus is huge, covering 37 acres, and features a lush green environment with modern amenities. Facilities include gyms, football and cricket grounds, cafes, restaurants, and more. Despite the humid weather, the scenic surroundings and greenery are a highlight. The Aryabhatta Central Library is well-equipped, housing a vast collection of books for academic and research purposes. There is also a dedicated gym and yoga center for fitness enthusiasts.

Placements: At Haldia Institute of Technology, 70-80% of students get campus placements in almost every department. Infrastructure: College infrastructure is one of the most beautiful infrastructures in the state. The biggest private engineering college in the area. Placements: Placements are good at my college. Almost 90% of students get placements from our college. The average salary package offered is in the range of INR 5–6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Adani, Mahindra, L&T, Infosys, JSW, Kalptaru, JMC, Project, GDCL, and Simple Infrastructure.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good on our college campus; our college has two cricket grounds, a badminton court, and a gym. The hostel facilities are good, the food served in the mess is good, all equipment is available in the laboratory, and free Wi-Fi is available on campus.

Faculty: The faculty members are very cooperative, talented, and familiar with the students in our college. The teaching quality is very good; they make students industry-ready. They teach us in Hindi and English. The semester exams are based on analytical and theoretical skills.
