Honest review and job-focused reality.
Placements: In my course, Mathematics, I could SEE only a few (2-3) students getting placed. This is also because very few students in the mathematics department sign up for placements. I would say that the rate would be 10% for those who applied for placements in the math department. In my course, the highest was around 13 LPA, and the lowest was 5 LPA. 4-5 students got internships, which again depends on how many people applied in the first place. Top roles are sales and marketing, data analysis, and analysis.
Infrastructure: The boys' hostel has been under construction for a long time. It will be finished soon. Overall, the infrastructure is great. We get Wi-Fi access, and the library is amazing. There is no limit to resources because we get high-speed internet access in the library. However, the canteen food is bad: pricey, not cooked properly, not hygienic, too much oil and spices, limited options, and non-veg is sparsely available. I got diarrhea twice, once after having pav bhaji and once after a chicken roll.
Faculty: The only good thing is that the faculty is great and passionate. They love to teach. They love what they are teaching. The problem is the course structure. It is designed by the university. It is highly rigorous. It is completely proof-based. If someone wants to do application-based mathematics, quantitative mathematics, economics, and statistics-based mathematics, then those options are not there. It is not industry-ready per se, but if you can learn extra skills in either finance, consulting, technology, etc., then you will be a good candidate for placements.

Hindu College is a great college.
Placements: The placement ratio is quite high, with over 90 percent of students either placed or pursuing higher studies. The highest package last year was 24 LPA, the median is 9 LPA, and the lowest is 4.2 LPA. Mostly consulting and finance firms hire on campus. The on-campus internship ratio is quite low, with only 5–6 students per batch of 120 getting internships, so most people seek off-campus internships.
Infrastructure: The boys’ hostel is still under construction, while the girls’ hostel is decent with all necessary facilities. The library has three floors, is very beautiful, and has almost every book and resource you need. However, the Wi-Fi is very slow and almost never works, and the classroom benches are not comfortable.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They provide all important questions and cover all topics well. They are duly qualified and well-versed in their subjects and fields. This course is also very practically relevant.

Review of Hindu College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Around 70–80% of students sitting in interviews get placements. Jobs offered to a Maths student are usually data scientist, data analyst, etc. Many companies like Maruti Suzuki, Zomato, and HDFC Bank are the recruiters. For internships, there is a society called Abhyas.
Infrastructure: Very nice infrastructure with proper classrooms. Wi-Fi is available in the library and also in many classrooms. The library is the best part of the college. The girls’ hostel is clean and well-maintained. The boys’ hostel is under construction right now and will soon be completed.
Faculty: Faculty of B.Sc. Maths (Hons) is highly qualified, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The course curriculum is considered relevant, especially since its restructuring in line with the New Education Policy (NEP). The passing percentage is very high, typically around 97% or more.
Other: Maths is the subject I want to pursue and have an interest in. This course is also practical. It provides important practical skills needed. It also forms a base for someone who wants to pursue a career as a data scientist, data analyst, etc.

Best college, good placements, really good infrastructure and environment is contagious
Placements: Out of those who sit, 70–80 percent of the people get placed, as far as I know. The highest package is 13 LPA, and the lowest is 5–6 LPA, and the average would be 8 LPA. Top recruits are Goldman Sachs, United Airlines, and ZS Associates. Top roles offered are decision analytical associate, investment analyst, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi in the whole campus is good, and the labs are well-functioning. The vast library is the best part of the whole college. The quality of facilities in the hostel area is good, and safety is provided. Food is good. The sports and games section of the hostel is growing, and the medical facilities are good.
Faculty: The faculty of the department is the best, in my opinion, highly qualified, friendly, and helpful. The quality of teaching is great. The relevance of the course curriculum is pretty decent, but there are some things that should have been taught to us earlier. The level of the semester exams is not that high, I mean, if you study well throughout the semester, you'll get a good grade. The passing percentage is more than 97.

College with the most loved events and its infrastructure.
Placements: 50 to 60% of students got placed in our course with many companies. Almost package of 10 LPA to 1 crore, and something offered in our course. Many companies recruited for our course. Many students got internships from our course at many companies. Many roles were offered in many courses.
Infrastructure: Our college campus was very attractive and beautiful. It had a big building with department-wise. Availability of Wi-Fi and labs, and very good library. Our college had very airy and pollution less classrooms. There were two hostels for boys and girls. In hostel, food quality was very good. Mainly our canteen was too attractive with good products. Medical facilities were also available. Sports ground was very attractive. Many games were played there.
Faculty: Our respective teachers were very helpful to us. They were very knowledgeable and their bond with us was unbreakable. Their teaching method was so understanding. Course curriculum was very relevant. It made students industry-ready. Semester exams were too difficult but it was average, 33% marks compulsory to pass.
Other: I chose maths because my maths was good. The time of college events and fests was the most enjoyable. There was much crowded campus.

A very good college. Campus is very sweet and environment is friendly.
Placements: Hindu College in Delhi offers decent placement opportunities with a high package reaching 36.5 LPA. The average package is around 10.40 LPA. Last year, the placement percentage varied with estimated training with 20 to 30%. Top companies invest in college like HCL and Deloitte.
Infrastructure: Environmentally friendly infrastructure is available. Each year, on Van Mahotsav the college plants stores of saplings over a hundred saplings in the sports complex. The college hostel is very good. Warden behaviour is very sweet with every student. Hostel food is tasty and timely provided everyday, etc.
Faculty: Hindu College courses are well-rounded and expensive. Because offering a variety of activities beyond the curriculum provides students with deserved opportunities for personal and professional development. These activities include cultural events, sports, and other student-led activities.
Other: All are good here.

It has great faculty members, great societies, the best campus, the best ground, and an auditorium.
Placements: The more placements are offered for the B.Com and economic departments. If anyone pursuing Maths wants placements, then the roles they can get might be data analyst, data holder, business analyst, and consulting jobs. If someone wants placement, then I would suggest practicing some skills through their graduation like Excel, Sol, machine learning, etc.
Infrastructure: The reality is that the boys' hostel is closed from lockdown and did not open throughout our graduation. The tender for the new building is delayed, not passed, but for upcoming batches, the good news is that it might get ready in 1 year, so after that, the new boys' hostel will have an absolutely good environment and facilities. The previous one had good facilities but it was not in good condition so we did not get that. The work of the new hostel is also much delayed.
Faculty: Faculty members, I would say one of the best in the University of Delhi. Teachers have great knowledge and really teach every concept. They maintain a good environment in class also. They are not serious all the time, and they connect with students and teach very nicely. The most important thing is that they complete the whole syllabus and are also available for help whenever needed.
Other: It is value for money and is like getting excellence in our life. There are many societies, activities, and functions that can be part of. Every person has some talent and this is the best place to enhance our capabilities and enjoy the real teaching of life and the practical aspects of life which we can't get in classes. The campus life is excellent. It has one of the most pure and beautiful campuses at DU.

Best college - Hindu College, best campus life, a lot of opportunities, and average placements.
Placements: In our course, 20% to 30% of students are placed every year. The highest package offered by Hindu College is 36 LPA and the average package is 10.4 LPA. Our course offers roles such as business analyst, data analyst, data scientist, and many more opportunities like teaching.
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't have any boys hostels, they only have girls hostels boys hostel is under construction and is being ready. We have labs for the mathematics department and all of them have Wi-Fi. We have 1 library and it is good. Sports is also a strong point in Hindu College. Medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers of our course are highly educated and well knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is excellent. Our course makes students somewhat ready for industry but not much. The difficulty level of semester keeps on increasing each year. You need to score 40% to pass the semester examination.
Other: Mathematics (Hons. ). is one of the most demanding courses and it will have a good response in the future. The best thing about it is that it prepares you for many fields and many opportunities that are for both industry and teaching. Less theorems can be a point because it is full of theorems. You will find activities and fest every year and our college and department are active for such things.

You don't even have 1st division so not a chance. Nowadays, 60% for honors is mandatory, so I recommend you to give improvement of 12th and scor
