Admission to all the courses offered by Hindu College is entrance-based including BA. While Hindu College accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, such as BA, BSc and BCom, admission to all the PG programmes will be subject to the CUET- PG exam  The institute along with DU started accepting CUET UG starting 2022 and the CUET PG from 2023 session onward. Before this, admission to UG was based on merit in Class 12 and PG admission was mostly subject to DUET exam previously conducted by DU. At the undergraduate level, Hindu College offers BA (Hons) and BA programmes across 10 specialisations and four subject combinations, respectively. Starting in 2022, admission for all UG courses at Hindu College is based on CUET -UG exam (conducted by NTA). Candidates who qualify the CUET UG entrance examination can then register on DU’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal for seat allocation. Other than BA and BA (Hons) programmes, Hindu College, affiliated with DU and offers a range of UG, PG and certificate courses in the stream of Arts, Science and Commerce.

The accepted entrance exam for admission to BA programme of Hindu College, is CUET (UG). CUET is typically conducted in the month of May. It is conducted in online (CBT) mode, once each year. In 2024, the exam was conducted over a testing period of 15 days, starting May 15, 2024. The result for the same is expected to be announced by the end of June. The registrations for the exam started in February and continued till April 2024.

Yes, Maths is mandatory in Class 12 to get admission to the BA (Economics) course at Hindu College Delhi. At the UG level, Hindu College offers a three-year BA and BA (H) course to students in the field of Arts. The BA (H) course is available in nine specialisations and one of the specialisation is Economics. The Economics Department of Hindu College is a very good department with great faculty.
