- Class 10 certificate
- Class 12 (or equivalent examination).
- If the class 12 (or equivalent) marks sheet is not available now, then you can instead upload a signed declaration form mentioning : DECLARATION BY THE CANDIDATE IN LIEU OF ELIGIBILITY EXAM CERTIFICATE/ MARKSHEET SEE Annexure). Fill up the form, sign it, scan it and then upload. The scanned copies of the actual marks sheet must be uploaded on or before July 7, 2025, failing which you will not be allotted a seat in any of the IISERs.

IISER 2025 Application Form Start Date
Candidates can fill out the IISER application form in 2025 by visiting the official website from March 10, 2025 onwards. The first step is doing the registration sign-up, which will create an account for the candidate on the IISER 2025 web portal. The other steps in the IISER registration form 2025 will be done later.
IISER 2025 Application Form Last Date
IISER application form 2025 will remain open for a month, and IISER 2025 aspiring candidates will be able to fill out the IISER registration form by April 15, 2025 upto 11:50 PM through Credit/Debit Card/NetBanking/UP. The IISER application process will be completely online, right from doing the registration for the IISER registration account to paying the IISER 2025 registration fees.
IISER 2025 Registration Fee Last Date
IISER 2025 aspirants, while filling out the application form, can only pay the IISER registration fees online. The last date for filling out the IISER 2025 registration fee will be April 15, 2025 upto 11:50 PM.
IISER 2025 Application Correction Window
Candidates will also get the opportunity to edit the IISER 2025 application form against the incorrect details they provided earlier. The IISER 2025 application correction window will open on April 21, 2025 and will remain open for the period of three day and will get close on April 22, 2025 by 11:50 PM.

How to apply for IISER 2025 Entrance Exam
Candidates can fill IISER entrance exam 2025 application form in online mode as per the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Register at IISER Admission Portal
Primarily, candidates need to register themselves at IISER admission 2025 portal which is https://iiseradmission.in/admission/application.html. For the same, candidates need to sign up using their name (as specified in Class 12 mark sheet), a valid email ID, and a password. After the signup, a verification email will be sent to candidates’ registered email IDs. On successful verification, candidates can log in to their accounts and proceed towards the next step of the application process.
Step 2: Fill IISER Entrance Exam Application Form
Next, candidates can start filling the IISER entrance exam 2025 application form in online mode. It may be noted that candidates can apply from more than one channel (SCB, JEE, KVPY). However, the application form and fee need to be different for each channel. Some of the details that candidates need to fill in the form are:
• Personal details such as name, date of birth, religion, category, disability status, guardian’s name, etc.
• Education details such as subject-wise marks secured in Class XII, name of the board, etc.
• Choice for IISER exam centre
• Preference for IISER campus
• Upload photo not larger than 2MB in size in png/ jpg/ BMP format
• Select Yes or No under the Float option
Step 3: Pay IISER Entrance Exam Application Fee
Lastly, candidates need to pay IISER entrance exam 2025 application fee in online mode through the secure payment gateway on the application portal.

IISER 2025 Application Form: Documents Required
Here is the list of candidates required while filling out the IAT 2204 application form:
- Class X certificate
- Class XII (or equivalent examination).

IISER Entrance Exam 2025 Overall Eligibility Criteria (Revised)
IISER exam officials have earlier introduced a radical change in the IISER entrance exam eligibility criteria for academic session 2025-2026. Earlier IAT Eligibility criteria were determined based on the year in which the candidate has passed its Class 12 board exams. But from this session onwards, IISER 2025 eligibility criteria are based on the Date of Birth (DOB) of the candidates and age relaxation is given to the reserved category students.
As per IISER Exam 2025 New Eligibility Criteria: The IISER Admissions Board (IAB) for 2025 has decided to reinstate the eligibility criteria used for last year’s IISER Aptitude Test (IAT 2024) regarding the year of passing Class XII (or equivalent) examination.
Educational Requirements:

Candidates must have passed the Class XII (or equivalent) examination in 2023 or 2024 or 2025 with science stream from any board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) in India. Foreign Nationals need to upload an equivalence certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities unless they have passed the Class XII or equivalent level examination in 2023 or 2024 or 2025 with science stream from any board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) in India. The equivalence certificate must be uploaded while submitting the IAT 2025 Application Form under "Please upload copy of document supporting your claim of Foreign National (You'll need to produce original when necessary)".

With a 7,000 rank in the SC category, admission to any IISER (including newer campuses) is not possible as per 2025 cutoffs. Cutoff ranks for SC category in IISERs generally close between 125 (most competitive) and 750 (least competitive).
