How to Fill IISER Entrance Exam 2026 Application Form

IISER 2026 application form was released on March 5, 2026. The form link was available online. IAT application process comprises registration, form filling and payment of application fees. Passed 10+2 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology, and could apply online. The last date to apply for IISER 2026 was April 13, 2026. IISER Berhampur will conduct IAT 2026 on July 7, 2026.

Candidates can fill IISER entrance exam 2026 application form in online. The complete process is mentioned below.

Register at IISER Admission Portal

• Register for IISER 2026 by providing your name, email ID, mobile number, and gender. An OTP will be sent to register email and mobile number.

Fill IISER Entrance Exam Application Form

Candidates can fill out IISER form by providing personal details and educational qualifications (class 10 & 12 details).

Pay IISER Entrance Exam Application Fee

Candidates can pay IISER application fee online through net baking / credit card / debit card.  Once the fee is successfully paid, the IISER entrance exam 2026 application form is submitted. Finally, take a printout of the application form.

IISER 2026 Application Form: Documents Required

Following documents are required while filling out IAT 2206 application form:

• Class X & XII certificate.
• If the class XII (or equivalent) marks sheet is not available now, then you can instead upload a signed declaration form - “DECLARATION BY THE CANDIDATE IN LIEU OF ELIGIBILITY EXAM CERTIFICATE/
  MARKSHEET” (see Annexure). Fill in the form, sign it, scan it and then upload. The scanned copies of the actual marks sheet must be uploaded on or before 2nd July 2026, failing which you will not be allotted a seat in any of the IISERs.

IISER 2026 Application Form: Eligibility Criteria

The authority has released IISER entrance exam eligibility criteria online. The eligibility criteria are minimum conditions to appear for entrance test. Candidates who fulfil IAT eligibility criteria 2026 can apply. The eligibility criteria for IISER 2026 are mentioned below.

Educational Requirements:

• Passed Class XII (or equivalent) exam in 2024 or 2025 or appearing in 2026 with science stream from a board recognized by Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) in India.

• Foreign Nationals need to upload an equivalence certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities unless they have passed the Class XII or equivalent level examination in 2024 or 2025 or 2026 with science stream from any board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) in India. The equivalence certificate must be uploaded while submitting the IAT 2026 Application Form under "Please upload a copy of a document supporting your claim of Foreign National (You'll need to produce original when necessary)".

• Studied PCM or PCB during their Class XII (or equivalent) examination.

IISER 2026 Eligibility Criteria: Generic

• Nationality:

Applicants must be Indian nationals, OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals to apply for IAT 2026.

• Board: 

Passed Class XII (or equivalent) with science stream from any board recognised by Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) in India. 
Foreign Nationals need to upload an equivalence certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities unless they have passed the Class XII or equivalent level examination from any board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) in India. The equivalence certificate must be uploaded while submitting the IAT Application Form under "Please upload copy of document supporting your claim of Foreign National (You'll need to produce original when necessary)".

• Subject Combination: 

Studied PCM or PCB in class 12 or equivalent.

• Per centage in Class 12: 

Obtained 60% (55% marks for SC/ST/PwD) marks in aggregate in class 12 or equivalent exam.
