As per the IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 5924 and 9558, among which Information Technology was the most competitive specialisation. The Round 1 closing rank for BTech ranged between 4817 and 8428 for BTech.
So, considering the previous year Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks, candidates seeking admission to IIIT Allahabad must secure a rank over and above 4800 and 9600 for the General ALL India category candidates.

To qualify for IIT Guwahati MBA programme CAT is mandatory. Without a valid CAT score interested students cannot apply for MBA at IIT Guwahati. To be considered for admission to UCEED 2025 participating institutes, the candidates need to meet the following conditions simultaneously:
- Age limit - The candidate needs to be born on or after October 1, 1999. For candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories, there is a relaxation of five years.
- UCEED 2025 qualification - The candidate must have qualified in the UCEED 2025 entrance exam and must have been allocated a merit rank.
- Qualifying examination - The candidate must have passed all the subjects in the qualifying exam (10+2 or equivalent) in 2023 or should be appearing in the qualifying exam for the first time in 2025.
Candidates seeking admission to the IIT Guwahati BDes course are required to appear for the UCEED 2023 exam, which is conducted by IIT Bombay. UCEED releases qualifying cut off in the form of mean deviation and standard deviation. Appearing in UCEED 2023 or being on the admission rank list does not guarantee admission to IIT Guwahati BDes courses. Candidates who have passed UCEED 2023 must apply separately to the UCEED participating institute for BDes admission. Apart from passing the UCEED exam, the candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria, category certificates and other documents, as well as the UCEED score, to be verified by IIT Guwahati.
Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% to 70% aggregate or 6.0 to 7.0 CPI is the basic eligibility for the PhD programme offered at IIT Guwahati. Candidates with a four-year bachelor’s degree/ equivalent qualification with a minimum of 70% aggregate or 7.0 CPI can also apply. The aspirants must also hold the relevant documents as a proof of eligibility.
The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech in Electronics and Electrical Engineering at IIT Guwahati - Indian Institute of Technology other than General category were - 1033 for OBC, 592 for SC, 405 for ST & 430 for EWS. IIT Guwahati offer M.Tech for the duration of 2 years in various specialisations such as Computer Science and Engineering, Biotechnology, Food Science and Technology, etc. via 11 Departments. IIT Guwahati M.Tech admission is entrance-based. Further, the M.Tech selections are done based on the exam and counselling rounds.
Candidates must secure a valid score in BTech or BE/ MCA/ MSc/ Graduation (AMIETE) with 60% aggregate or 6.0 CPI. The minimum marks requirement is relaxed by lowering 0.5% CPI or 5% aggregate for SC/ST/PwD category candidates. In addition to this, candidates must qualify GATE and COAP counselling.
