IIT Dhanbad Phase 2 placement process 2026 is ongoing. According to media reports, during the first week of phase 1 placements 2026, 4 CSE students were offered highest package of INR 80 LPA. Many students received package above 50 LPA. More than 350 offers were accepted and 200 PPOs were made during placements 2026. Top recruiters included BEL, InMobi, Accenture, Microsoft and NVIDIA.
Earlier, the final placement process 2025 was successfully concluded. According to the media reports, the highest package INR 1.22 Crore per Annum. As per the official report 2025, overall average and median package received in 2025 was INR 17.49 LPA and 13.24 LPA. A total of 1687 students registered and 1327 students were placed. Further, the overall placement rate recorded during IIT Dhanbad placement 2025 was 81.76%.

IIT Dhanbad Placement Report 2026
IIT ISM Dhanbad placements 2026 are ongoing. Earlier, as per the official IIT Dhanbad placement report 2025, a total of 1,144 offers were made out of which 1085 were unique offers. Among the total offers, 30 were international offers. In addition, more than 250 companies visited the campus during IIT Dhanbad placement 2025. In 2025, 249 PPOs were received out of which 221 PPOs were accepted.
290 students received job offers above INR 20 LPA whereas 429 students got offers between 10 LPA and 20 LPA. A total of 392 students received offers between 6 and 10 LPA.
The placement rate recorded in BTech, BTech Dual Degree and BTech-MTech courses during the placement drive 2025 was 84.34%, 100% and 90.9%. Batch placed percentage during MTech and Integrated MTech placements 2025 was 70.78% and 90.54%.
In MSc and MSc Tech courses, placement percentage recorded during placements 2025 was 88% and 75.64%. In MBA, the placement percentage was 75.93%.
