Computer Science and Engineering was most sought-after BTech specialisation for General AI category students, with first and last-round closing ranks of 248 and 252, respectively, for admission in 2024. Second-best option for students who missed out on CSE was Electrical Engineering, with lenient last-round closing rank of 1290. First-round cutoff for same course stood at 1257.

IIT Kanpur BTech cutoff 2024 has been released across multiple specialisations. Based on the Round 1 seat allotment, the BTech cutoff scores ranged between 248 and, 10037 for the General AII India category students. Among all the BTech specialisations, BTech in CSE is the most competitive specialisation. The Last Round for Computer Science and Engineering is 248 for the General AI category.

During IIT Kanpur OBC category cutoff 2024, the JEE Advanced last-round closing ranks ranged between 132 and 4766, with CSE being most competitive BTech specialisation for admission in 2024. The first and last-round closing ranks for CSE stood at 129 and 132, respectively. Besides CSE, the other options available were BTech in Electrical Engineering and BTech in Mechanical Engineering, with last-round closing ranks of 743 and 1392, respectively, for the OBC category students in the AI quota. Q:   What is the cutoff 2024 for admission to IIT Kanpur?
A:

IIT Kanpur Cutoff 2024 was released for admission to M.Tech courses was concluded, on the basis of GATE exam. In IIT Kanpur, the cutoff was released for M.Tech. in Photonics Science and Engineering, with the cutoff rank of 658 for the General AI category. Among the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff rank for the same course closed at 588. The cutoff was also released for other categories under the All India Quota.

Q:   What if my rank isn't good enough for IIT Kanpur? Are there any other options?
A:

IIT Kanpur JAM Cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 2. The most competitive course was M.Sc in Statistics, with the Cutoff of 63. For the OBC AI category candidates, the Cutoff stood at 187, for M.Sc in Statistics.

If the Cutoff rank is more than 63, there is no scope of admission to IITs for M.Sc in Statistics. 

Q:   What are the chances of getting into IIT, Kanpur with 200 Rank in General quota?
A:

First of all, candidates don't have option to avail any course via there home state quota. The IIT Kanpur cutoff 2025 has been released for the candidates belonging to All India quota. During the IIT Kanpur JAM cutoff 2025, the required rank to get into the institute should range between 50 and 226 for the General AI quota, so, candidaes applying with General AI quota can surely get admission at 200 rank.
