IIT Kanpur Cutoff 2024: Check Category-wise JEE Advanced Cutoff Ranks

IIT Kanpur Cutoff 2024 For General All India Category 

Computer Science and Engineering was most sought-after BTech specialisation for General AI category students, with first and last-round closing ranks of 248 and 252, respectively, for admission in 2024. Second-best option for students who missed out on CSE was Electrical Engineering, with lenient last-round closing rank of 1290. First-round cutoff for same course stood at 1257.

IIT Kanpur Cutoff 2024 For OBC All India Category 

During IIT Kanpur OBC category cutoff 2024, the JEE Advanced last-round closing ranks ranged between 132 and 4766, with CSE being most competitive BTech specialisation for admission in 2024. The first and last-round closing ranks for CSE stood at 129 and 132, respectively. Besides CSE, the other options available were BTech in Electrical Engineering and BTech in Mechanical Engineering, with last-round closing ranks of 743 and 1392, respectively, for the OBC category students in the AI quota. IIT Kanpur Cutoff 2024 For SC All India Category 

For the SC category students, the Jee Advanced last-round closing ranks varied between 96 and 2667 for admission in 2024. Comparing the cutoff range with the above categories, the competition was tough for the students belonging to the SC category in the AI quota. CSE has the lowest last-round cutoff rank of 96, making it the most in-demand course for admission at IIT Kanpur. The first-round closing rank for CSE stood at 89. IIT Kanpur Cutoff 2024 For ST All India Category 

During the IIT Kanpur PWD category cutoff 2024, the JEE Advanced first and last-round closing ranks remained the same for most of the courses. This indicates that either the seats were filled after round one admission for these courses or the competition for the courses remains the same after each round of admission. IIT Kanpur Cutoff 2024 For EWS All India Category 

The most competitive BTech specialisation, based on the JEE Advanced closing rank in the last round of admissions, was Computer Science and Engineering, with first and last-round closing ranks of 49 and 51, respectively. Candidates seeking admission to IIT Kanpur, irrespective of any course choice, can also consider other BTech specialisations such as Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering with lenient last-round closing ranks of 259 and 506, respectively. 

IIT Kanpur Cutoff 2024 For PWD All India Category 

IIT Kanpur JEE Advanced cutoff 2024 was released for BTech, BSc, and BS courses. Among all the courses, the competitive last-round cutoff rank was for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering. The first and last-round closing rank for CSE admission stood at 11. The JEE Advanced closing cutoff for CSE was comparatively tough for admission as compared to the above categories.
