BSc at IIT Kharagpur is a four-year UG-level programme offered with six specialisations for students to choose from. IIT Kharagpur also offers a five-year Integrated MSc programme for students willing to pursue a PG integrated course. Under this programme, the university offers various specilaisations including Physics, Economics, Applied Geology, and more. Admission to both of these courses is based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores, followed by JoSAA counselling. Candidates seeking admission must qualify for both the entrance exams for admission to IIT Kharagpur.
In order to be eligible to apply for IIT Kharagpur BSc courses, candidates must have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1999. Five years’ age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates, i.e., these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1994.

IIT- KGP BSc scholarship includes Merit cum Means scholarship. Under this scheme, the college supports meritorious students by providing them finical aid.
