IIIT Lucknow BTech Courses & Fees 2025: Admission, Placements, Cutoff, Admission Dates

IIIT Lucknow BTech admission is conducted through the JoSAA Counselling and CSAB couselling based on JEE Main scores. Candidates must first complete the JEE Mains admission process followed by the counselling rounds. Find below the BTech admission procedure for the academic year 2025:

Step 1: Qualifying for the JEE Mains exam

For the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Lucknow BTech admission, candidates must visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) to apply for JEE Main. The step-wise application process for JEE Main is given below:

Step 1: Open the official website.

Step 2: Click on the “JEE Main 2025 Registration” link.

Step 3: Fill in the required details and click on the “Submit” button to complete the registration.

Step 4: After completion of registration, candidates will be redirected to the page for filling out the detailed application form.

Step 5: Upload scanned images of passport-size photographs and signature

Step 6: Pay the application fee

Step 7: The application form will be automatically submitted after the successful payment of application fees.

Step 2: JoSAA and CSAB counselling

For the IIIT Lucknow BTech counselling rounds, candidates must apply for the JoSAA counselling 2025. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) conducts the JoSAA counselling at the national level for admission to BTech courses based on JEE Main scores. Candidates are required to register through the official JoSAA online portal to participate in the counselling and secure a seat in IIIT Lucknow. Further, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) holds CSAB counselling 2025 for candidates who do not receive any seat in JoSAA counselling based on JEE Main ranks.

Step 3: Seat Allocations

Once the application forms are filled for the counselling, candidates will need to do the JoSAA choice filling process, based on which admission will be listed. Once candidates are done with choice filling, they have to lock their choices and take a printout of the selected options for future reference. Candidates will be allotted seats based on their rank, choices entered for programmes and colleges, and availability of seats. If students are satisfied with the institute and programme, they can choose the Freeze option; otherwise, they can choose either Float or Slide.

Step 4: Final Admission

For the final IIIT Lucknow admission, candidates must accept the seats by choosing the 'Freeze option; otherwise, they can choose either Float or Slide. The candidates have to pay the seat acceptance fee online. Students will be required to get their documents verified as per the schedule. In the last step, students have to report to the allotted institute to deposit the remaining fee and complete other admission-related formalities.
