It is worth it to study at this college.
Placements: Almost 85% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCLS, DRDO, L&T, etc. Around 80% of students got internships in this course.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good. The infrastructure is decent. Laboratories are excellent. We have a library in which every textbook is available related to our course. Seminar halls are available for PowerPoint presentations. Hostel is very good.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified from the most prestigious IIT colleges. They are highly knowledgeable. They help us a lot with our projects which are done by us in the final year. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Fests are also held such as freshers' party, night clubs, etc.

The college has decent faculty and good infrastructure but exams are tough.
Placements: Around 50-60% of students are placed in metallurgical engineering at JNTUH. The highest package offered is around 11 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA and the average package is about 3.5-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include JSW and Vedanta. About 40% of students received internships mostly in companies like JSW. Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. and Local Manufacturing Unit. Top roles offered are graduate engineer trainee and quality control engineer.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with decent classroom facilities and functional laboratories for practical work. Wi-Fi is available in only some academic blocks. The library is well-stocked with books related to metallurgy and other core subjects. Hostels are clean and maintained 5 days a week. The mess food is average but sometimes hygienic. The canteen options are decent. Medical facilities are available on campus and are accessible during emergencies. Sports facilities like a basketball ball court, cricket ground, and indoor games are also present for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive with most having strong academic backgrounds. The teaching quality is decent and they are approachable to doubts. The curriculum is moderately relevant to industry needs though some parts are outdated. Semester exams are very tough and the paper correction is strict, resulting in a low pass percentage. Students need to prepare well in advance to score decent marks and clear all the subjects on time. The pass percentage is low.
Other: Each department organises its fest with a unique name and these events are usually conducted over 2 days. Fests are lively and offer a good break from academics with participation from both students and faculty. The campus crowd is friendly and there are opportunities for extracurricular activities. However, connectivity to the campus from the remote areas could be improved. More industry interaction and technical workshops would also enhance the course experience.

I'm satisfied with this college.
Placements: Around 60% of students get placed on campus in our college. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, the lowest salary package is 3.5 LPA, and the average salary package is 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, LTI, Cognizant, Accenture, NCR, AMNS, and many more. Top roles offered are data analysts and software developers. Placement cell of our college is very good.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in our college with good speed. There are 8 labs with Wi-Fi, printers, and scanners in each lab. The server room handles all the machines. Our college has a library. The quality of food served in the hostel is good and the mess charges are less.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are caring, knowledgeable, and supportive. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is good as it provides basic knowledge of industries. Industry visits are provided to Midhani, BHEL, etc. Semester exams are good. The pass percentage is 70% to 80%.
Other: I chose metallurgy because of my interest in industries. Students get placements from industries related to metallurgy. Our course should be improved. Students of backward castes get fee benefits. Our college is huge with beautiful nature.

I'm absolutely satisfied with this college because of faculty. Good placements and facilities.
Placements: I took Metallurgical engineering course which deals with metal study. The highest package was 7 L per annum and lowest is 3.5 L. Percentage of students placed in my course is 75%. Mostly 50% students got internships from BHEL, etc. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, BHEL, steel plants, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, with neat classrooms. A library with lots of books and lots of information, good WiFi, and labs with required equipment are there. I got to know that the food available in the hostel is not much healthy but can be eaten and the canteen is better. Medical facilities are good.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful; they are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. This course makes the students industry ready. The semester exams are quite easy, the pass percentage is 40% and the course curriculum is relevant.
Other: I chose this course with my own interest and the best things—no pressure and happy understanding.

Students also asked

Q:   I got 14513 rank in TS EAMCET (obc). Can I get seat in JNTUH.
ShikshaGPT says
A:
Based on the previous year's cutoff, a rank of 14513 in TS EAMCET under the OBC category may not be sufficient to get a seat in the B.Tech programs at JNTUH. However, the cutoff varies every year, and it is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. The cutoff for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH through TS EAMCET varies every year and depends on various factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, the availability of seats, and the category of the candidate. It is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. However, based on the previous year's cutoff, the minimum TS EAMCET rank required for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH was around 20,000 to 25,000 for the general category, and for the OBC category, the cutoff was around 30,000 to 35,000. Please note that the cutoff varies every year, and it is advisable to check the official website of JNTUH or the TS EAMCET counselling website for the latest cutoff ranks. Also, meeting the cutoff rank does not guarantee admission to the programme as the final seat allotment depends on the availability of seats, the candidate's preference, and other factors.

I don't think you can change the branch, it was there in the past to change the branch if we get some (around 90 percent). The rule has been changed, I think.
