How to Use TS ICET 2025 Response Sheet to Calculate Scores?
To evaluate the raw scores in TS ICET exam, candidates require multiple documents, including
- Response sheet
- Answer key
- Question paper
- Marking scheme
TS ICET question papers, answer keys, and response sheets are released on the same day. The marking scheme of the TS ICET exam is released along with the notification.
Steps to Calculate Scores Using Response Sheet
To calculate the marks using the TS ICET response sheet, candidates must follow the steps below:
1st Step: Compare each response as per response sheet with the preliminary answer key.
2nd Step: calculate the number of correct answers in the response sheet as per the TS ICET answer keys
3rd Step: Assign one mark for each correct answer.
4th Step: Do not deduct any marks for incorrect responses or unattempted questions.
Note: The outcome of the addition will be the TS ICET raw score.
TS ICET Normalisation Process
TGCHE compiles the TS ICET result using the raw score followed by normalising the same. The score normalisation process helps equalise the score of the test takers across different shifts. A specific formula is used to bring down the score of an easy shift, or increase the scores of the candidates in a difficult exam shift.
The image below depicts the TS ICET normalisation process:
In the above formula,
- SASD: Sum of Average (A) and Standard Deviation (SD) of the section of a particular session.
- GASD: Sum of Average (A) and Standard Deviation (SD) of all the candidates across all sessions of all sections put together
- STA: Average score of the top 0.1 per cent of the test takers in a section of a particular session.
- GTA: Average mark of the top 0.1 per cent of all the candidates across all the sessions of sections put together.
Since the candidates are unaware of the above-mentioned metrics when the answer key releases, the normalised score cannot be calculated. Therefore, candidates must wait for the final results to decide the TS ICET college for MBA admission in Telangana.
