My experience in this college: An honest review.
Placements: Final year students are eligible for the placements, and there are a lot of companies that offer a lot of packages for students. We have a fairly good placement cell. Last year, over 150 students were placed with the highest package of 21.5 LPA by D.E. Shaw and an average of 7 LPA. We have many other firms too like Deloitte, KPMG, Bain & Company, BYJU'S, etc. Nearly 70-80% of students are placed.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are quite decent. All the rooms are double sharing, there is no room for a single person. Only a few seats are available. In the college hostel, there are only 89 rooms. There are a large number of PGs' nearby colleges. The average rentals that need to be paid are Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 12,000.
Faculty: The faculty at KMC are not only highly qualified but also have a wide wealth of experience, ranging from 5-30 years. They're very approachable and supportive, always ready to assist students with both academic as well as personal challenges. The internal examinations include about 60% of the syllabus, which is quite manageable and easy to pass. The end-semester exams are pretty straightforward and can be cleared without much difficulty. Since I'm in the previous year means the first year, there is no such industrial exposure for us, maybe there is some industrial exposure for final-year students.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in Chemistry, and it has a scope for the future. You can join DRDO, IOCL, any industry, or further research.

The campus of the college is well maintained.
Placements: There are many companies offering internships to the students, such as DE Shaw, Nestle, Reliance, and many other private companies. The stipend ranges from 10 to 30,000 per month, along with a job offer after the internship period is over, depending upon your performance.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good M.Sc. students don't have much interference with college life, so I wasn't aware of all such things. But I feel college is quite active about sports activities and extracurricular activities as well. The overall campus life is good. You get to learn various things as a student.
Faculty: Actually, for the students of M.Sc., you need to attend classes in the department (university itself). So for classes, you don't need to bother about the college. There will be 4 semesters, and each semester there will be examinations. Also, since it'll be continuous evaluation, attendance will be the major issue. You can't escape out of the loop.

This is my best experience at this college.
Placements: There is a lot of scope for placement and job opportunities. Our college provides a very good internship program. Some courses have placement cells, but many haven't, and this is certainly everywhere. Some colleges have good placement, and some have too bad. Students can go for the placements, and for that, they have to contact the placements cell, i.e., Avenue.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are quite good. Hostels even provide a gym for the students. The meal is cooked according to the students. This is the best feature where the hostel forms are released on the college website.
Faculty: Actually, for M.Sc. students, we need to attend the classes in the university department itself, so for classes, we need not bother. There are 4 semesters, and for each semester, the examinations are held. Since the evaluation is continuous, attendance would be the major issue, you can’t escape from the loop. The faculty members are well-qualified, and I need to say they are Ph.D. holders and NET qualified. They are highly paid and highly skilled professors. The course curriculum, academics, and faculty members are good, but not very good. Since I'm in the previous year means the first year, there is no such industrial exposure for us, maybe there is some industrial exposure for final year students.
Other: There are more activities and societies where you learn. You will definitely learn a lot. You will be able to beat somewhere if you study from here.

My engagement with campus life and the quality of social interactions is very good.
Placements: The training for placements will start from the 2nd year, and students will be eligible for placements from the 3rd year. The placement percentage for my course is nearly 85%. Most of us got placed. There are nearly 50+ companies that visit. Even for entrepreneurship, there are trainings regarding that. They provide idea labs to develop your ideas into projects.
Infrastructure: The library of the college is quite good and consists of many copies of books so that at a time many students can issue them from the library. Some classes have ACs, while some do not. Other than this, classes have projectors, a simple green board, and a simple class setup. Technical fests are also there, like Levitate 24, organized by the placement cell of Kirori Mal College, which is basically an internship fair organized in March 2024. According to me, sports are not that up to the mark because the ground is not properly maintained, and the basketball court is still under construction. Other than this, the college does not provide any type of sports equipment. You need to bring yours if you really want to play. There are various social groups, societies, and clubs of the college such as Avenues (the placement cell), Kartavya (the civil services society), Bhoomi Club, Girl Up Disha, Parivartan, etc. These groups impact student life differently, giving them new experiences and knowledge. They also help in developing soft skills like communication.
Faculty: The faculties are really helpful. They will allocate 20 students to one faculty as their counselor. Whatever issues we have, we can get to that faculty, and they will rectify it for us. Regarding the exams, there will be unit tests for each unit for about 30 marks in 45 minutes, and there will be a first internal, second internal, model exam, and the final semester exam.

Teaching staff is way better than other ones.
Placements: Various private companies are offered placement. Sometimes they can be subjective to the specialization. Usually, there's no specific eligibility for 1st- or 2nd-year students. Companies can offer around 4–5 lakh packages per year on average. Usually, students prefer to get placements outside the campus.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is great here at KMC. A hostel is like living almost free of charge; the annual fee of the hostel is Rs. 54,000. Facilities like a fan, tube light, study table, study table lamp light, bed, and almirah are provided in the room. The meal quality is top-notch, with a diverse menu that does not repeat anything in a week. The registration process at the hostel is also very simple; we just have to fill out one form and the location is determined by our CUET score. Roughly, every course has 2–3 seats in the hostel. SC, ST, Sports, Sikkim, PMSSS, and PWD have reserved seats as well. Hostel Fee : INR 54000 per year.
Faculty: I am interested in chemistry subjects in school; my college future is chemistry because the chemistry world is chemistry and many jobs are available in the chemical industry. There are excellent faculty members, and many labs are available. There are 2 organic labs, 2 inorganic labs, 4 physical labs, and 4 NMR lab technicians available. Students' strengths are excellent. Faculty qualification is good, teaching professors are excellent, any doubts are cleared, weekly tests are conducted, smart classrooms are available, and there are good explanations for my professors. Exam preparation is good; a weekly test is conducted and an internal exam is conducted. For the next semester exam, all students are passing. Class size:-57 The course costs INR 15000 per year .
