Good academics and placement, strong connectivity, and campus life.
Placements: I belong to Maharaja Institute of Technology Delhi College has a good placement record with around 75 to 85 percent of eligible students getting placed every year. The highest package offer recently is above 50 LPA, the average package is around 7 LPA to 9 LPA, and the lowest is about 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA. Major recruiting companies include Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, ZS Associates, and Infosys. Many students also receive internships with companies like Amazon, start-ups, and IT firms in roles such as software developer, data analyst, and consultant.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure at Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology are well-developed and supportive for technical education. The campus provides good Wi-Fi connectivity, an academic use department, labs, and modern classrooms equipped with updated computers, software tools, and internet access. The classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with smart boards and projects. The central library has a large collection of textbooks, reference books, journals, and access to online learning resources.
Faculty: Teachers of MSITs are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable in their subjects. Most faculty members support students through doubt, sessions, mentoring, and practical guidance. The teaching qualities are good with a balanced mix of theory and hands-on learning. The curriculum is mostly relevant and covers fundamentals and advanced topics helping students build a strong technical base. Extra self-practice is needed to be industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult and follow the university pattern with regular study and attendance. Most students are comfortable. The percentage is above 85 percent making the academics manageable and fair.
Other: I chose this course as I am interested in technology and career growth, and MSIT has a good placement record. The best part of the course is the strong academic foundation, supportive faculty, practical labs, and exposure to coding and projects. The campus atmosphere is lively with cultural fests, technical events, and workshops. The student crowd is competitive, and connectivity is excellent as the colleges are near a metro station and roads. Scholarships are available for deserving students. I wish the course had more industry-based training. Better internship support and updated lab equipment to match current technologies.

Experience of a freshman.
Placements: 75% students would have been placed with packages ranging from 3 LPA to 35 LPA. I'm unsure about the rest. There's a variety of companies coming to the campus. Also, a lot of students achieve off-campus placements and internships because of their own skills.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not provided in the college except in the library. There is also a lack of mobile signal inside the campus due to its proximity to Tihar jail. Classrooms are outdated. The mess is like any other tier 2/3 college in India, and the hostel rooms are livable.
Faculty: Faculty is qualified on paper, but not so good at actually teaching. We're taught a few subjects in the first year that would be useless in our field. Course curricula are outdated and need some changes. Exams aren't very difficult and are quite easy to pass.
Other: I chose it because Computer Science is one of the most wanted degrees. The fest is not that great, but it can be enjoyable with a good friend group. It's easy to make friends here, but a lot of uncivilised and rowdy students can also be found here.

MSIT comes under GGSIP University therefore it gives admission on the basis of an entrance test conducted by IPU, so it does not offer admission on the basis of JEE Mains marks but it offers admission on the basis of an exam conducted by IPU known as IPUCET(CODE 131) for B.Tech.

Admission in MSIT is on the basis of IPUCET, not on the basis of JEE Mains. The rank secured in IPUCET determines that you will get admission in this institution or not.

As per the last year's cut-off for the course you asked, it went up to the rank 5332. Sorry, but I don't think there are any chances that you will get admission in this course at MSIT.
