Manipal Institute of Technology - A fine institution of excellence.

Placements: The thing is CS fintech started last year, so technically I am the second batch of the entire course. Hence, our placement statistics don’t exist. But in CS streams overall, the placements are high, with the highest of last academic year reaching nearly 2cr.

Infrastructure: The classrooms and the hostels are top-notch. The facilities are very good here. We have a night canteen in almost every hostel to satisfy late-night cravings. Housekeeping services are provided by Zolo Scholar. They are basically the managers of the hostel in terms of any complaints or issues.

Faculty: The professors here are one of the best in India. They create the curriculum by keeping a holistic approach in mind. They are very approachable and friendly. In terms of semester exams, they are pretty tough. Last-day mugging won’t help. You need to prepare and practice well in advance.

Review of MIT, MANIPAL 2024.

Placements: The placement at Manipal is above what it is for other private colleges. A lot of companies come to Manipal and are also mass recruiters. The average package is 12 LPA and the top goes up to 50 LPA domestic. Some recruiters are Microsoft, Zerodha, Groww, TCS, etc.

Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi available all across the university campus. And the classrooms are big, modern and clean. All the lectures are recorded and available to see on student portals. The library too is really huge and perfect for group or solo study. The hostels are really well made and hygienic. We can get them cleaned as frequently as we want. The food in the mess is good and a lot of options are given to us.

Faculty: The faculty present are really well educated and know how to teach. The curriculum too is really well designed and tailored to make us job-related. The exams are a bit difficult but there is relatively good grading so everyone has a chance to score well. A lot of makeup exams are also available.

The college is the best in terms of food and college life.

Placements: My course is a new one at MIT and it is called Computer Science and Financial Technology. The first batch will pass out in 2027. But I can tell about the placements of CSE in our college for the batch of 2020–2024. The placement percentage was 81.8%. FIS, Microsoft, and Uber are definitely interested in recruiting students from our batch.

Infrastructure: The classroom is spacious, with the facilities of a blackboard, an EDU computer, and air conditioning. The library is top-notch, with 4 floors and a variety of books. The labs are alright but not up to the mark as expected. The Wi-Fi works fine most of the time. In my opinion, MIT has the best food quality of any college in India. The food in the canteen is good and cheap so it's always crowded there. As a student at MIT, I get free medical facilities at KMC, which saves me a lot of money and time. The sports are taken seriously here, which I found impressive. MIT recently won an inter-MAHE competition.

Faculty: The majority of the teachers are polite and helpful. Many of them are doctors and very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good overall. Fintech is definitely relevant. It makes us industry-ready and ready to face challenges. The semester exams are a little difficult. Out of 50, you have to get at least 18 to pass.

Other: Fintech is a new and upcoming industry and no other college in India offers this course to its students. I think the curriculum for the course is perfect. A lot of fests and events happen around here. The college is surrounded by greenery. There are certain scholarship offers as well. There are 150 clubs at the college so students can enjoy some extracurricular activities as well.

Really good college life and infrastructure.

Placements: Around 85-90% of students get placed every year. For CS-related branches, placements often exceed 95%. Major recruiters include Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Deloitte, Accenture, Infosys, Bosch, etc. Common job roles include software engineers, data analysts, consultants, business analysts, etc. The highest package is 50-60 LPA, with an average of 11 LPA.

Infrastructure: The labs are awesome, with modern infrastructure; everything is functional, and the classrooms are cozy. The library is very quiet and contains many books. For Wi-Fi access, you need the administrator's permission. To mention the canteens, it is such a pleasurable mess in Manipal. The food tastes, ohh, not like home but also not less than it.

Faculty: Teachers are very friendly. No doubt they will help you a lot when you need them. You just have to be respectful, and boom, they are always ready to help you. The curriculum is mostly outdated, somewhat between industry-ready and not. To mention the exams, they are tough. They are really tough.

Other: I chose the college course because I liked every part of it. Manipal provides the best college experience you could ever imagine in a private college. To be more precise about my course, I chose it because it was the only CSE course I was taking. Otherwise, I would have had to take ECE. I am loving it now. Campus life is fire. You would love it. Probably the best campus life in India, even better than IITs.
