Slightly dissatisfied because of faculty. Good placement in 2024 and infrastructure is average.

Placements: In 2024, 369 (97 percent) students got placed mostly in the IT/CSE/ECE field. This year 2025 (87 percent) get placed. The highest package from college is 15 LPA, and off campus is 17 LPA. Average package is around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Enphase, Liugong, Capgemini, Emphasis, Polycab, and many more. After 2nd year many seniors get internship opportunity in Newtown.

Infrastructure: College campus is okay not too big nor too small. All labs are there, and you get a basketball court. Wi-Fi is available only in library, and it is very slow. We have a small classroom and do not have AC also. Labs are fully equipped, and all labs teachers are very nice. Hostel is outside the campus, 5 minutes walk. Girls hostel is inside the campus, and 3 floor hostel junior and senior hostel are separate. You get 2, 3, or 4 sharing rooms. Hostel infrastructure is good. You get a daily cleaning facility. There is no Wi-Fi in hostel. After 8:00 PM gate is closed.

Faculty: Professors are from good colleges. Their teaching style is somewhat like old school methods. The attendance policy is very strict. 75 percent is required anyhow. If you have a good relationship with the professors or you are good at studying then there is no problem. I think it is okay.

Other: If they had removed physics, chemistry, and humanities in 1st year then it would be good.

Best college providing the best future .

Placements: In this, more than 60% of students are already placed. And their average salary package is also good, so no worries about placement. If you give your 100%, then 100% confirm you will get the placement, and they manage an internship also, and the college produces industrial training also, so it's good of this college.

Infrastructure: In this college, the library is so good, but the lab is not that good. Wi-Fi is good, and the classroom is also very good. The quality of our faculty is excellent, and their teaching techniques are very good. They're well experienced and also helpful. I'm not living in a hostel, so I'm not able to say anything about the hostel, but I heard from my friend that it's not good.

Faculty: All teachers are so helpful any time you can freely ask them and they help you. They pass out from excellent colleges like NIT and IIT; it makes students for industrial purposes, and the semester exam is not difficult that much; it's average, and pass marks are 40 out of 100.

Other: According to our senior, if it depends only on college, then it is not good to try yourself and try to develop your skills in your field. Each year, the college organizes a cultural festival, a tech fest, and a lot of events. SVMCM scholarships are there, so no worry about that.

I am absolutely satisfied by MCKV Institute of Engineering.

Placements: I am from the last year batch, 2023, and currently, I am in the IT department. In my college, the package ratio is average, but some students got a good package from the campus. The curriculum is quite old, as with other colleges, but overall it provides a good experience.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is on the average side. The classroom sizes are decent, and Wi-Fi connections are available in the library and labs only, not in the classrooms. The hostel facility is good; the girls' hostel is inside the college, and the boys' hostel is at a walking distance.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, but sometimes the language becomes a barrier. They start to teach in Bengali, which becomes tough for some students to cope with. The course curriculum is quite tough in engineering, but it's not that much, and the semester exam is a bit tough.

Other: I chose this course because I was looking for NDA but could not clear the exam. The best thing about this course is that you can explore many things.

Emotions of college life in words.

Placements: According to the last few years, 85–95% of students are placed every year. The highest package is 30 LPA, the lowest package is 3.5 LPA, and the average salary package is 4.5 LPA. There are a lot of companies, but the top two are TCS and Wipro. 88% of students are placed at Webel, TCS, ISRO, etc. In my department, in general, software development and sales jobs are obtained.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi connection is so poor on the college campus, but in the library there is a high-speed unlimited Wi-Fi connection. IT at MCKVIE College is a very good course, and no doubt the lab in every subject is outstanding. But as far as I know, the condition of the hostel is so poor, according to some friends.

Faculty: Every teacher is helpful. They are very experienced, and their teaching techniques are so good. At any time, they are available to help, and they behave like friends. That's why we are able to understand a very hard part of our subject within a minute; they are all very good. But college doesn't prepare any students for industrial-level semester exams, which are standard.

My Dream College and Dream Campus Life.

Placements: Placement is very good. College internship is also very good. The college placement company offers the best salaries. The top role offered in our course is software developer, with a salary of 13.8 LPA. In our department, there are 70 students and over 50 students have been placed. That's it.

Infrastructure: The hostel is the best in our college. There are ACs available in hostel rooms for both boys and girls. All types of food, including veg and non-veg, are available here. This hostel is newly built, so it's very clean and fresh. In the boys' hostel, there are no restrictions, but in the girls' hostel, there are some restrictions for the safety of the girls.

Faculty: The curriculum and facilities are very good. The teachers are very friendly. There are no attendance restrictions; it is mandatory with 70%, 75%, 80%, and so on. Exams are very easy; teachers have already provided a suggested question paper set before the exam. Those questions then appear in your exam.
