The best place to study. If you get a chance to study here, do not miss it.
Placements: There aren't any direct placements for chemistry. However, there indeed is a very active placement cell that offers a lot of internships (maybe jobs too). All one needs to do is register for that. They send you regular email alerts with all the opportunities for both jobs and internships. The internships are paid as well as unpaid.
Infrastructure: It feels like walking in a home, to say the least. The buildings are aesthetically pretty, and the red brick hugs you like a guardian. The lawns are well-maintained (and probably the best on the north campus), water coolers have bone-chilling water, and some rooms have functional ACs. Others have multiple fans, the benches are well-painted, there are projectors in almost all classrooms, and the labs are well-equipped. The canteen has the best food. Dal chawal, fresh fruits, fresh juice, South Indian, Chinese, you name it and you have it. The hostel rooms are spacious and the rooms are well-cleaned.
Faculty: The teachers in the department are very helpful. The department is strict and labs are conducted very seriously. Papers like quantum chemistry spectroscopy, drug design, and molecular modeling are taught, and cosmetics, etc., are taught with utmost dedication. Courses like nanotechnology and green chemistry prepare students for further studies in the field. Exams are timely conducted and are in the difficult bracket of moderate to difficult. Elective papers are easy and boost the CGPA. Core papers demand thorough understanding. Overall, if you study well, you'll do very well. If you don't study rigorously, you'll do average.

Miranda house - excellent faculty .
Placements: As it was a Bachelors degree, very few students opt for placements, but the placement cell is very active, and you can easily get an internship or job, but for undergraduate students, the salary package is very low. The highest package may go upto 8 LPA and the lowest can be 2 LPA. Top roles offered in my course was for coaching institute recruitment; otherwise, low-paid jobs of marketing, etc. Students majorly go for Masters instead of placements.
Infrastructure: There was a basketball court, and the lab of chemistry was the best lab I have ever come across with. But the classrooms lack air conditioning as well as good infrastructure, although smart boards are available in all the classes, and students without any laptops are provided with laptops so that they can do the coursework for the subject demanding a laptop.
Faculty: The curriculum was very well designed for competitive exams and better understanding of the course, and the faculty was excellent (there were 1-2 exceptions); the lab and theory faculty were very experienced and explained very well. The semester exams happened once a semester, and they were quite easy if you solved PYQs. Passing percentage was also very low.
Other: Miranda House has a NIRF ranking of 1 for consecutive 5 years, and it is an all-girls college, so it is very safe and comfortable inside the college premises. The canteen is very crowded during the lunchtime, so that is a negative point too; otherwise, the college is built in a very beautiful way, and the facilities are very good on the North campus. You can also do internships under IITs if you have good connections with the professor and you can prepare for other exams side by side.

Good college if you are looking for exposure not placement.
Placements: Very few students sit for placement after a Bachelor in Chemistry; most go either for a Masters or a competitive exam. It is not about placement here, but the skills acquired matter more. So, if one is looking for exposure and not money or salary, one can come here. It would be fruitful here, indeed.
Infrastructure: Indeed, it is a NIRF-1 college because it's infrastructure is fabulous. There is some shortage of AC and digital room; otherwise, everything is good. The library is the best. Other labs, particularly the chemistry lab, are very sophisticated and really engaging. It was totally worth it.
Faculty: Teachers are highly knowledgeable and helpful, but not that friendly, particularly in my field. This course is relevant, providing good basic information about chemistry specializations for further studies. Semesters are quite easy until the 4th semester, and I don't know after that.
Other: I chose this course because I loved Chemistry till 12th and since I want to do a graduation from DU, particularly, I thought to do it in Chemistry only. Every course is good. It depends on the person who is fascinated by that subject. Making it best for him or her. I wish my teachers would be more friendly and I would be more dedicated to my studies, as college life isn't only about studies (I took it very seriously, which is wrong) but also about studies.

An awesome college with great teachers and infrastructure.
Placements: The highest CTC stood at Miranda House is INR 19.25 LPA and the average CTC stood at INR 7.47 LPA during the placement drive of 2021 this year the highest CTC stood at Miranda House at 21.08 LPA. The placement cell tries its best to make the best placement offers. A lot of companies visit campus for placement. There are a lot of opportunities for everyone.
Infrastructure: In our course of B.Sc. Hons chem the facilities and infrastructure are just awesome. The teachers are so nice. There are 2 days for the lab in 1 year ( my current year). The infrastructure of labs is also very good. The lab staff is always there to help us. In the library, there are a lot of books and such a nice peaceful place.
Faculty: The teachers at Miranda House are awesome. They are so much helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. It's very proud full to study under them. The course syllabus is very relevant. It makes us industry-ready. Other than academics extracurricular is also best. Miranda House provides a lot of opportunities to its students to make their careers in different fields. It gives u chance to show your talent and shine like a star.
Other: I'm interested in chem so I choose this course. The best thing is that we don't have to just study theories. We enjoy our practical experience a lot. A lot of events are organised. Lot of crowds during the fest.
