The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Delhi offers a four-year full-time B.Des course at the undergraduate level. NIFT Delhi's total seat intake for the B.Des course, including all the categories, is 258. The fee structure is inclusive of different components, such as tuition fees, hostel fees, refundable security deposit, registration fee, etc. A few of these components are one-time chargeable, while some have to be paid annually or semester-wise. For NIFT Delhi B.Des admission, candidates must have passed Class 12 from any recognised Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education/ State Board New Delhi/ Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi. A passing grade in the Senior Secondary School examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects is also eligible to apply for the National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi. 

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Delhi admits students to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses based on their NIFT entrance exam scores. As per the NIFT Delhi cutoff 2025, the Round 1 closing rank for the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme ranged between 54 and 800 for the students belonging to the General All India category. Among all the specialisations, B.Des. in Fashion Communication was the most competitive, with the lowest cutoff rank of 54. Candidates applying for NIFT Delhi must visit the official website of NIFT to register for the entrance test. NIFT Delhi B.Des admission 2023 is based on candidates' performance in the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) entrance exam comprising of a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT). Shortlisted candidates on the basis of CAT/ GAT test scores are then required to appear for the Situation Test, conducted by NIFT for B.Des admission. Candidate should not exceed 24 (29 years for SC/ ST/ PWD category students) years of age as on August 1 of the year of admission to be eligible for NIFT Delhi B.Des admission.
