B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2029
4.4
Somewhat satisfied because of a good college and campus life.
Placements: If you are someone who is pursuing Electrical Engineering, then you have the option to do jobs in tech, non-tech, and core fields. Last year, that is 2025, the placement was around 45% to 50%, which is low, I know, but the main reason was due to recession, and many students pursued masters after doing their B.Tech in Electrical. Keeping these points in mind, if your main objective is to get placed, you can get placed if you focus on this one thing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of NSUT is very awesome, especially for freshers. They get the APJ complex, a full big-sized room with centralized AC per section. Along with this, the college includes a big playground and a two-floor library with a lot of books. A Student Activity Centre with badminton courts and table tennis equipment, a gym with full equipment, and a big campus also available. Talking about hostels, there are many hostels according to price range, but on average, the food is quite good.
Faculty: In some semesters, you will find good teachers and staff. While in some semesters, you will find stubborn teachers who do not think about anybody except themselves. But if we talk about completing the syllabus and cooperation. Most teachers are cooperative and positive, whether they are cool or strict.

College life is great, placements are good, fests are on a different level, and faculty is okayish.
Placements: I can say it's very good, especially in tech for the top CS/IT branches, but not that great in tech for lower branches. However, placements-wise, there are many opportunities, like core and non-tech. As far as I know, almost everyone who prepares seriously gets placed. Luck matters a lot in placements, irrespective of college.
Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, library, everything is top-notch. For all branches, everything is provided. Talking about the hostel, for girls it's quite good, has good cleaning, and overall well. For boys, I won't say it's good. Its just liveable at this point. Overall its fine.
Faculty: I mean, I can't say that everything taught in college is impactful. Some faculty members are good, they teach well. However, major studies need to be done on one's own. I think this is irrespective of college. The curriculum, I would say, is tougher for circuit branches as compared to CS/IT. But this is told beforehand, so can't really complain.
Other: The fests are something that makes NSUT different from all other colleges. The fest, especially Moksha, is on another level. Top artist, three days of full madness. I mean, this is definitely worth the JEE struggle.

Experienced faculty members, average sports complex (the only good thing is the track).
Placements: See, the placement in electrical is not great, but not bad, though. About 55% get placed. The highest package is 56 LPA, the lowest is 8 LPA, and avg is 13 LPA. Top companies include Google, Microsoft, which pick students good in both core and tech. Great jobs of electrical engineering and can be got.
Infrastructure: Facilities are great, we have AC. Also, we have a lot of instruments to try new things under guidance. There is a great canteen and mess for each hostel. The best thing about the sports complex is the racing track, which is 400 meters long. We also have SAC, a student activity centre.
Faculty: Teachers are highly knowledgeable and highly experienced. In some topics, they redefined the course this year, which is 90% relevant. The semester exams are not that hard, but it’s necessary to study for 2 weeks rigorously. The pass percentage is nearby 40%.

NSUT - overall review for someone who wants to join.
Placements: Considering the last few years, Electrical engineering was newly introduced in NSUT, and since then, most batches that have passed out were during and after corona years, which has an effect in 2 ways. 1, those who passed out when lockdown was lifted, hence economy was stablizing, resulting in great placements even reaching crores for 1-2 people, and most of the people were able to secure good placements. 2, after 2022 batches passing out or having placements after 22, that's when recession occurred and affected placements, but despite that NSUT EE was able to secure good placement, but not good percentage.
Infrastructure: Campus is really beautiful, and lovely to walk around, especially considering it's in Delhi, so having a walkable place itself is a blessing. Canteen is above average, you will get what you want most of the time, Mother Diary, Nestle, and a normal canteen. We have a total of 3 hostels, which are typical average hostels of Indian engineering colleges, nothing new, as most of them look old and flabby. Labs are 7/10. The library is above average, but has less seating space. Maybe they are looking forward to increasing it. Wi-Fi works well, and games work too.
Faculty: This is a 50/50 situation, it's good, actually good in some cases, but when it comes to attendance and other things, then that becomes painful to go through, although since the last few sem, we are having unofficial attendance relations, but since it's not official, we can't say anything about it. The curriculum is diverse and good enough for learning. Exams are good, but as a typical engineering college, grading is never good enough, scoring high CG is tough comparatively to DTU or other engineering colleges.
Other: Fests are insane and good enough to entertain you, and scholarships are rare and slow. Campus crowd is good and friendly specially seniors, since they help and mentor a lot. Connectivity is way above average compared to other colleges, its near walkable distance from the metro, we have malls near the college, so you can hang out outside too. But you are not allowed to bring your own car/bike inside campus as a student, since it's banned, they might lift it, but we don't see any scope in this.

NSUT is a top college for both education and placement purposes.
Placements: The percentage of students who get placed in my course is 70-80 percent in different sectors. The average package is 12 LPA-14 LPA, and the highest is 76 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my courses are Siemens, Adani Power, Microsoft, Google, and many companies visit the campus for placement in the electrical department.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well structured, and the electrical machines present in labs are sufficient to provide better knowledge. The quality of hostel food is okay, and the medical facilities and sports facilities are better, but it could be better.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is nice. The difficulty level of the semester exam depends on the teacher, but sometimes it is very difficult for students to gain more than 60 percent marks in many subjects, it is 40 percent.
Other: I have an interest in core subjects. It would be better if there were more hostels. The fests are good. .

It offers nice courses and amazing infrastructure.
Placements: Since I am in the first semester, I heard that this year, out of 160, around 30-35 students got placed. The average package is 18 LPA, and the highest package is 50 LPA. A lot of tech companies offer placements and internships at this college.
Infrastructure: Hostels are clean. Food in the Mess is pretty average. The security guard is there every time, so they are strict with rules and regulations. However, they have structured everything.
Faculty: Faculty members are amazing. Classes are held every day. The subject and topic taught come in the paper, and the paper is all based on the curriculum. There is security, and invigilators are checking strictly. Even though they are on time, and they do not delay things, it is a value for money. The course structure is above average. In semester one, we have a foundation subject, but in the next semester, subjects like CP (computer programming) are provided.
Other: Seniors are amazing, very supportive, cheerful, and friendly. There is no scope for ragging, even though they provide us with the study materials.

The combination of flora and fauna under and education system known as NSUT.
Placements: This university provides an express experience in placement rules. Companies that approach the university for good candidates are, on average site like not well-known companies but not common companies they provide. Average package is around 30 LPA, and the lowest provided is 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: You can find cats and dogs across the street from this university. They have different types of flora also but at some places it's very tense, and the sports facilities are not that great. The ground has very long grass ground maintained only when a competition or any other big event is going to happen.
Faculty: The course curriculum is very relevant to the industry. It makes students industry-ready. This university provides very experienced teachers. They are very knowledgeable about the course. You can ask whatever they know about the course. Semester exams are not that hard. If you concentrate in class, you can score well on the examination.

You don't get IIT, but you get NSUT IIT crusher.
Placements: Placement of this university is fabulous; it gives competition to some top IITs. More than 80% of students got placed last year. The highest, lowest, and average packages they offered are about 1 crore, 40 LPA, and 60 LPA, and some of them are the biggest companies that are originally from abroad, like Microsoft, Google, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this university is so beautiful; they have different types of plants that make the NSUT campus road beautiful. In this university, we have a botanical garden for research purposes. Wi-Fi is not that fast but has super connectivity, and the classrooms are clean and big.
Faculty: The course curriculum is super relevant because it helps to train students for industrial development. Exams are on the moderate side, but the exam faculty is very strict. If they find any student cheating, they give that student a suspension and call their parents. Teachers are highly qualified and super supportive.
Other: This college is very beautiful, but they have the biggest flaw in their fests; the events are super boring. They need to introduce new activities for students so they can enjoy them as well.
