Dream tier 1 college DTU.
Placements: Almost everyone is placed in DTU, no one is left. Some are placed on campus, and the rest are placed off campus. The package is good. Mango is the most famous company that comes to DTU every year. FANG internship on campus is very tough to get but you can apply for it or for an off-campus internship.
Infrastructure: In my department in DTU electrical engineering, there are many labs, power electronics, microcontroller, and all. There is a big library in our college. Classrooms are good with full AC. Wi-Fi is available with good speed. Hostel management is overall good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in my course like electrical engineering where you can't do anything without your professor's lectures, books recommended, PPT, and all. This is very helpful, and they provide us curriculum. They are very good. Semester exam is mostly tough, don't expect its easy.
Other: When I was a kid, I really felt how current movies how this TV runs, how things like electrical equipment run. There is a curiosity that makes me choose this course.

DTU, the college life carver.
Placements: Placement of this college is one of the best key features that help metro choose this. At least 70% students get placed, and companies offer a 40 LPA package, and an average package of 20 LPA. Top recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Uber, Zomato, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is better than some of the NITS and some of the IITs, and it is very good, like everything is in one place, you will not get confused, as all classrooms have good Wi-Fi, and AC available in every room. Library is fully stocked with books.
Faculty: Exams are good, they give enough time to learn, understand, and express. Exams are semester-wise, and they are on the easier side. The teacher is also very helpful if you write correctly, they are very helpful if you get fails with 1 mark, they give those marks and make you pass.
Other: Fests are on point, college is so huge that it helps them to control the crowd.

DTU - Unfiltered the crowd, fest, energy, placements, and campus life.
Placements: The placements offered in my college are very good, especially in electrical engineering. Although people say it's a tough branch but still the placements are good as of 2025. The placements for 2024 ended in May so the number indicates that the average is 15.8 LPA which is very good for today's time. The highest salary is 84 LPA or 87 LPA which is offered by Uber and Rapido.
Infrastructure: When I talk about the hostel, it is very bad for the first years as no AC and rooms are 40 years old but from 2 years onwards, the rooms get better and paced.
Faculty: As I talked before, the faculty members are bad overall as the EE department takes everything too seriously and tasks for everything on time. The curriculum is still chill in a sense as teachers five back sometime. For the exams, the UFM policy is very strict here and back is given if you get caught. The course faculty members are bad. Overall, some teachers are good and supportive but some are so bad to even talk to.
Other: Engifest is always a last for us. This year Sonu Nigam and Jasmin Sandelas came and rocked the whole event.

Good placement with full exposure for students.
Placements: In DTU's Electrical Engineering course, around 75% of students get placed, while 5% go for higher studies. The highest package offered is 1.1 crore in 2022, the lowest is 8 LPA, and the average is 10 LPA. The top companies that hire students include Google, Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, and Intuit. Many students also get internships in companies like Qualcomm, Intel, Siemens, and Tata Power. The most common job roles offered are Software Engineer, Hardware Engineer, Power Engineer, Embedded Systems Engineer, and Data Analyst.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good and decent. Wi-Fi facility is available free of cost. The library is also well-maintained, and classrooms are clean, well-maintained, and equipped with full AC. The library has books for all branches available. The mess food is also affordable, and canteen food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are also helpful. My Maths teacher is very understanding and kind. She always supports me. Students are encouraged to get involved in various activities, which make them job-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult, but they are very scoring, and most students pass.
Other: I have chosen Electrical Engineering because I have a deep interest in electronics and making new projects and innovations, which very encourages me.

Truth about Delhi Technological University.
Placements: Last year 2024 from the electrical branch the highest was 82 LPA. Generally electrical branches go well but due to the layoffs session, there is a dip in placement percentage. In 2024 only 52% of electrical students got placed. Top recruiting companies for my branch vary year to year but most of the time it may be Philips, Tata, LG, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite well as compared to other branches as in the electrical branch. There are many labs that will help you to understand things physically. Hostel quality varies from year to year. When I was in first year hostel was not good but in second year it was quite well. Mess of 2nd year is also so good as compared to 1st year mess.
Faculty: There are many renowned faculty members who teach us. Sometimes we get some freaky faculty members and sometimes we get good faculty members it totally depends on which year you are studying. Level of exams is not as difficult as I supposed before giving mid-semester of 1st year.
Other: One more thing that is good about my college is that it organizes Delhi's biggest fest (Engi fest). Approximately 1 lakh students come across Delhi to enjoy.
