NIT Raipur MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
NIT Raipur MTech is a two-year postgraduate degree programme divided into four semesters and offered full-time. The basic eligibility criteria required by the institute to get admission to MTech at NIT Raipur is candidates must achieve a minimum of 60% aggregate or equivalent in BTech degrees. Additionally, NIT Raipur MTech admissions are based on GATE scores followed by CCMT counselling.
NIR Raipur MTech courses are available in various specialisations, such as Information Technology, Applied Geology, Structural Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, etc. The MTech courses shall comprise Professional Communication courses, Core Courses, Electives or Electives in Modular Form (EMF) and Thesis Work.

NIT Raipur MTech Admissions 2025: How to Apply?
NIT Raipus MTech course admission is based on the GATE, followed by CCMT counselling. Candidates must have a valid GATE score for the year in which they are applying. The application process for the MTech course includes multiple steps, such as filling out the application form, submitting the required details, paying an application fee, appearing in the counselling process, releasing of merit list, etc. Moreover, candidates can apply to NIT Raipur admission through the online application form. Step 1: NIT Raipur MTech Application Process 2025
Candidates applying for the MTech programme at NIT Rapur need to apply through the Common Counseling for MTech (CCMT) process (www.ccmt.nic.in), which is based on GATE scores. This is not the same as the GATE application process. After registering and qualifying for GATE, candidates must apply for CCMT to be considered for centralised counselling for MTech admissions, including NIT Raipur.
Step 1.1: Visit to the official website of NIT Raipur.
Step 1.2: Go to the admission portal on the college's official website.
Step 1.3: Read the eligibility criteria, and the details on the selection process.
Step 1.4: Then, click on the link of the application form.
Step 1.5: Start registration by filling out the basic details about candidates.
Step 1.6: Fill out the all necessary details asked by the institute.
Step 1.7: Pay the NIT Raipur MTech application fees.
Note: The candidates admitted through CCMT will be allowed to fill the choice of specialisation at the time of final registration in the Institute.
Step 2: Release of Merit List
Merit for seat allotment will be prepared purely based on the GATE score of the year filled by the candidate. The institute may send updates via email to registered candidates. However, it is not guaranteed that all notifications will be sent directly. Hence, applicants should regularly visit the official website or admission portal.
Step 3: Seat Confirmation
Candidates can confirm their seat by paying the adequate amount of course fee/ admission fee/ registration fee.
