Yes, JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to NIT Sikkim are out now but the dates are tentative. It is expected that JEE Main 2024 notification will be released in the first week of December. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions in January and April. The exact date of the exam for both sessions will be announced in the notification. Honestly giving the feedback and review of hostels in NIT Sikkim. It is not that good but it's okay. 

There are two hostels, one for B.Tech boys and one out od campus hostel for 1st year boys. The hostel rules and guidelines are strict. 5 persons stay in one room for boys with common bathrooms and toilets for 8 rooms each. 

For girls, the rules and regulations and regulations are much strictly followed as compared to boys. The accommodation is good for girls with 4 persons in a room. But as compared to boys, girls are privileged in NIT Sikkim. Moreover, at NIT Sikkim, you will learn to adopt this scenarios. First of all it will create problem or you might struggle but after that you will become habitual to it and you will have fun.

The lowest package details for the recent placement is not out yet. However, the institute has disclosed the course-wise median package for the past three years of placements. Yes, NIT Sikkim be considered a good college for engineering. The institute is an autonomous institute recognised by the UGC and approved by the AICTE. While its recent NIRF 2024 ranking places it in the 151-200 band for engineering, and its median placement packages are modest at around INR 8.50 LPA for B.Tech. The faculty are passionate and committed to helping the students in their career pathways. The faculty focuses on theoretical and practical knowledge for the students. 

No such scholarship is provided by the institution. If a student wants to apply for any scholarship have to check the mail coming from the academic office and try to contact the Nodal officer for Scholarship and the assistant registrar for further process and application. The students from the SC/ST categories have more scholarships than other category students. • Candidates seeking admission at NIT Sikkim are required to complete the application form for the course-specific entrance exam. After appearing for the respective entrance exams, candidates have to apply for the counselling process for the final seat allotment.
• For its flagship BTech course, NIT Sikkim admits students with a valid JEE Main score and are allotted seats through JoSAA Counselling. Admission to M.Tech is done through GATE, followed by CCMT Counselling. Similarly for MSc admission, IIT JAM and CCMN Counselling are required. However, PhD admission requires to appear in the Institution entrance exam and PI. Additionally, NIT Sikkim conducts IAT (Institute Admission Test),  for admission to the left-over seats from the CCMN and CCMNT counselling for MSc/MTech.
• The cutoff for BTech, MTech, and MSc courses is released by the respective counselling bodies.The shortlisted candidates are then required to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats.

Yes, NIT Sikkim accepts a percentile between 70-80 in JEE Mains. Also the candidates must have aslo secure minimum 75% (65% for SC/ST/PWS) in class 12 exam. With all the eligibility and selection procedure cleared candidates are sure to secure seat in NIT Sikkim.

 NIT Sikkim course admissions are entrance-based. For admission to its BTech programme, NIT Sikkim accepts the JEE Main scores, followed by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling. NIT Sikkim admission to M.Tech and MSc programmes is based on GATE and IIT JAM scores, respectively. After qualifying for the respective entrance exams, interested candidates must apply for the relevant counselling sessions, such as JoSAA, CCMN and CCMT, to gain admission to various courses offered by the institute.

BTech programme at NIT Sikkim is offered in  specialisations namely Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The eligibility criteria for the BTech specialisations includes twelve years of shcool education with 75% aggregate. National entrance exams is the source of admission for the BTech programme.
