Placements: As Bhubaneswar is the capital, companies do visit this university and placements are decent. Last year nearly 80% of students got placed in our course. The highest package is 17 LPA. The lowest salary is 3.3 LPA, and the average is 5.5 LPA. Top recruitment company is MSIL. Instrumentation engineer and management roles are offered after pursuing this course.
Infrastructure: Hostel life is going smoothly. Staying in an engineering hostel is an unforgettable experience. It is a place where lifelong friendships are built, and late-night discussions turn into innovative ideas. We have 4 hostels, 2 for boys, and 2 for girls. As this is a government university so it is cheap. We give only Rs 55,000 for hostel rent for a semester and Rs 13,000 for mess for a semester. Hostels are also maintained and cleaned regularly. Many events are also in the hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are always punctual. They are knowledgeable. Some teachers have better interactive teaching quality and some don't. The course curriculum is relevant to the afterlife of B.Tech. Semester exams are difficult in this college. It varies from branch to branch. Students get less, especially in core branches and many get backlogs.
Other: This course has scope in PSUs and other core industries. New innovative technologies should be added and lab equipment needs to be changed to new ones. Our college hosts many events, and more than 2 events are held in a month.

Satisfied with faculty, average placements, good facilities.
Placements: The placement scene in the college is average this year. The lowest package being <3 LPA, the highest being 18 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. Cisco, Accenture, L&T, TCS are the top recruiters. Summer internships are not offered by the college. You have to arrange it for yourself and get permission and essentials from the college.
Infrastructure: Good space for electronics labs and classes. However, AC classrooms, the auditorium, and other infrastructure are being built as the government has sanctioned funds. However, the infrastructure needs to match the hype of the college. The hostel is quite good, but the mess food is not good.
Faculty: Teachers of my branch are very helpful. They are very qualified and help clear all doubts. The course curriculum is also good. Final-year students only have to give a major project and viva, which is a great thing. It helps focus well on placements. Semester exams are stressful, and sometimes we don't get gaps. However, some subjects are quite difficult to score, like Advanced Control Systems, Optical subjects, and Signal Systems. But overall, you can easily score more than 7 CGPA.
Other: Last year, the fest didn’t happen. The organizers need to level up their game.
