B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2022

Absolutely satisfied with faculty and placements.
Placements: 90% of students were placed. The highest package was 15 LPA, the lowest package was 3.5 LPA, and the average package was 4 LPA. Recruiting companies included Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, HCL, Accenture, and CSS Corp. Around 60% of students received internships at companies like CSS Corp, Accenture, and Cognizant. Roles offered were Software Developer and Software Engineer.
Infrastructure: There was 24-hour Wi-Fi facility, well-established labs with proper equipment, qualified lab faculty, digital classrooms, and a well-maintained library with all necessary books. The food quality in the hostel mess and canteen was good. A 24-hour medical facility was available, along with a big ground for sports and an indoor stadium for indoor games.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality was very good. The course curriculum was relevant and made students industry-ready. The difficulty level of the semester exams was moderate in this college, and the pass percentage was 80%.

Transforming lives through education.
Placements: I'm pretty happy with the placement opportunities provided by our college. Most of the students get placed each year in the placement drive. About 60% of students get placed each year in placement drive and the average package is about 8 lacs. Different companies like Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: B. S. Abdur Rahman University has one of the best infrastructures that provides with comfortable and supportive learning environment. The campus is equipped with modern facilities including library labs and many more when it comes to the hostel it is somewhat bad because of no quality food.
Faculty: Many faculty members are well educated and have very good knowledge of their subject. They teach through PPT which makes it more understandable. Semester exams are moderate just need to understand what teachers explain that is enough to crack exams. The pass percentage is about 80%.
Other: You should choose ECE because it can be a fantastic decision for several things like high demand, and opportunities in emerging fields. We can have both software and hardware knowledge and we can choose any field.

Great infrastructure and placement opportunities.
Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in various MNCs and startups. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant. About 30% of students got internships in their last year of the course. The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA by Amazon. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing. Labs have air-conditioned facilities. There are robotics classes as well. There are canteens, cafeterias, medical facilities, and sports and games fields for both indoor and outdoor. The campus has greenery. The library is accessible 24/7.
Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified. Most of them have Ph.D. degrees. The pass percentage is greater than 95%. Whatever is taught in classes is enough to pass exams. All faculty members are always there to help or guide us. Courses are relevant to the industry.

It is a very good college which focuses more on providing collaborations and events.
Placements: Around 70%-80% of the students from our course got placed in last year. Among them, less than 10% of the students got placed in top companies. Most companies which visit here for placements are middle-level companies only. Internships are well facilitated by the management to students. Top roles offered would be desktop support engineer, system control engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Overall, all the infrastructure and facilities are good in our college. The campus is maintained neatly, but the Wi-Fi facility is average. The quality of the food served in the canteen is good, but it is just average in the hostel mess. The library is huge and has many books for supporting the course curriculum.
Faculty: Faculty members here have good professional knowledge in the subjects and are student-friendly. Some new staff members may not up to the mark. Teachers are able to communicate well and make students understand. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready as well.

A slight dissatisfaction for placements in 2016 and 2017. Highly satisfied with the infrastructure.
Placements: The number of companies invited for placements is good and enough, compared to the strength of the college students. Software plays a major role in the placements, the software companies recruit many students. But, coming to the core companies, the placements are very less, and only 10-20 students will be placed, if they are lucky.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. The campus is around 66 acres. There are good and attractive buildings with 3 to 4 building having high-class infrastructure facilities. There are also few old buildings. The hostels are good and are provide with Masjid facility since it is a Muslim University. The renovation is done for the old buildings, and the worst part is utilising the playgrounds for building constructions. Left with the main ground which is used for football and cricket, followed by athlete court.
Faculty: The faculty of the college are highly qualified, but few of them are not much qualified. The labs are very good. One can utilise the labs very well, and the college provides them with ample opportunities, and it is up to the students to utilise or not. Regarding the course curriculum, almost every course is present. It is a preferable college for every course except automobile, polymer engineering, since they started the course 4-5 years back, and the staff are just qualified people and not too experienced.
Other: Events, fests and campus crowd is huge for the size of the college. Wi-Fi connectivity is developed, and surroundings need to be improved a bit. It is a Muslim minority college, so scholarships are provided, and many other programs are conducted, wherein we can find fun and knowledgeable activities.

Finally I can suggest this college to the students by the facilities and teaching.
Placements: This institute has an exclusive placement training. Every year the process is streamlined with the convenience of the students. The primary motive is to bring awareness in which they had done the students about the companies like how they recruit and this. During the year 2016-2017 the number of students placed is 65 percent. The highest salary package was about 5.5lakhs, and the lowest can be started around 3.3 Lacs. This is a good amount of package that students are getting from the firms. The roles of the students depend on their abilities they can prove. The prestigious companies like Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra etc., some renounced companies visited this college. Coming to the internships, I didn't find that they are far enough in teaching to do the internships, but adequate sources are there to do internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure, this is the main thing I have to appreciate in this college. The Internet has been provided throughout the college, and you will get a good speed of the internet to browse, and they have been providing you 24*7 computer facility with internet so that you can go anytime and get the information that you want regarding the studies. Coming to the laboratories they bought good quality of equipment in all the departments. The classrooms are well designed with good benches to the seat, and the nice thing is every class is placed with projector we can state this as the smart way of technology to teach. The sports and games are well-taught to the students by respected trainers they are good to encourage if they found any talented players they will take them to the next level. You can find a medical centre in the college surroundings, and you can get some good treatment there, and they will suggest you get treated by outsiders if they need. Coming to the quality of food it is okay to eat, but the cost of the food items was higher compared to the outside. The hostel rooms are good enough to stay for the students who are coming from the far places, but the food you are getting in the hostel is not good for the amount you are paying to them. I did not face any of the infrastructure related issues in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified ones, but this number is less in college compared to the other teachers. Maximum number of teachers are helpful and brings spirit to your goal. In recent times they implemented project-based learning so that every student gets the knowledge practically.
Other: The scholarships are provided to the low-income families, and the students have to register their data with them, and they will get the scholarships. Fests are as usual there are so many fests conducted by departments, and there are also some events by the whole college Is represented.

It has been a great journey. we have good faculty and amazing culture with green environment here.
Placements: Placements for my senior batches till 2016 will be very good, which have been more than 80%. At present, our 2017 batch placements will be quite good, as still, recruiters are coming to our campus for hiring. The highest salary to our senior batch is more than 7 LPA, the average will be 3.5 LPA and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. The companies visiting our campus are more than 100 in number.
Infrastructure: Especially the department of electronics and communication engineering, we have labs like VLSI lab, embedded lab, signal processing lab, microprocessor and microcontroller lab, networks lab, electronics circuits lab, digital circuits lab, digital communication lab, microwave and optical communication lab, linear IC's lab, and national instruments lab. Every lab has a Wi-Fi connection with a speed of 80+Mb/sec. Some of the labs contain ACs as well. There are digital classrooms. There is only one library which contains all books of all departments of BTech, MTech, MBA, MCA and PhD. It has medical facilities different to both boys and girls and contains 5 canteens with the best quality of food. Sports are encouraged and conducted every evening. Hostel rooms contain four beds with each room for boys with good quality of food. Also, there is a separate hostel for girls.
Faculty: A functional Dean (Academic Affairs) has been nominated, and the faculty team was very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are using different technical methods to understand students easily. The course curriculum was very helpful to all students of every department. There are giving an assignment as a project for project-based learning subjects.

Other: Great freedom in college, easy going attitude, rules are very much relaxed. Placement is decent in this college. Multi-culture discipline. It was an awesome experience and there is no dress code. Knowledgeable staff in the college. The College is very accessible when compared to others. The Campus is covered with greenery and trees. I made some of my best friends in life here at Crescent.
