Staff members were supportive and encouraging, both in academic and other activities.
Placements: Except for the students who opted for higher studies, all students who opted for placement were placed. The companies visited were familiar to all others. They give a salary package from 3.25 LPA to 18 LPA. Companies like Wipro, CTS, TCS, Emphasis, and L & T visited our college. Around 40% of the students were doing their internships at the companies where they were placed.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college were good. Laboratories were perfectly maintained and the students were allowed to access the lab whenever they needed it, especially during the final semester projects. Classrooms and labs were spacious, and every individual was allowed to access the computers in the lab whenever they needed. The college also has a proper library.
Faculty: Staff members were very helpful in the academics and they were available whenever we ask help. They encourage the students to come up with many innovative ideas and make to work on it since from the first year. Though the studies were done in hardship during the lockdown, we managed to maintain the pass percentage.
Other: I have liked engineering since 8th grade, so I chose engineering. I have a deep interest in networking and electronics, so I chose ECE. I learned many things in networking for 3 semesters and came up with many ideas regarding networks.

The placements for the 2022 batch are good.
Placements: The college conducts very good training sessions for placements. The training is good. Every week, we had 4 to 5 drives, and if we missed any drive, we'll always have the next drives. Overall, we have good placements. The placement training is also good.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. Labs are maintained with good Wi-Fi, and the equipment is good. If we are in need of any apparatus for our project, the college provides that. The classrooms and library are well-organized. The canteen food is good, and the canteen infrastructure could be better.
Faculty: The faculty members are good, and they share their knowledge with us. The student-teacher interaction is very good, and they help us develop our personality for our careers. The curriculum is very useful for us, and it makes us industry-ready. Various modules are used to teach us.

Good infrastructure and fair placements.
Placements: The percentage of placed students in my course is above 90%. The highest package offered was 12LPA. The lowest was 3.25LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. The top recruiters are TCS, CTS, Wipro, and Capgemini. The main roles offered are Software developer, Front end developer etc.
Infrastructure: The laboratories are well-equipped with the required equipment for the various courses. The library has a lot of books related to the courses as well as to gain knowledge about other fields too. The hostels are well maintained and hygienic foods are provided to the students over there.
Faculty: The professors who teach the courses are qualified and explain the content of the courses clearly. The course curriculum is based on the Anna University syllabus which is provided to all affiliated colleges. The semester exams are relatively easy if the student listens to the lecture given by the teacher.

Review of Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Our college is the best for those who are interested in going for an IT job. But, for core ECE jobs, you have to search for them offline. With the amount of coaching you would get for IT jobs, you can assure yourself of being placed in a company. Placements and training for core companies could be better.
Infrastructure: The lab facilities in our college are excellent, and you can access the equipment at any time. The library is the best and you can get all your books for the semester exams. Internet access is good in labs. Canteen food is decent, but the infrastructure of the canteen could be better.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are all helpful in every way. They will assist you with subjects, exams, and your career in general. Our batch had the best placement percentage (99%), the best in the history of ECE at our college. Making students industry-ready could be improved. IV and Industrial Visits could also be improved.
Other: Students can take part in a variety of projects with the inauguration of the Electronics Club. They can learn more about the modules used for the project. It is also a very good way to let the students know what career to choose after college.

The college is one of the top tier colleges in Chennai.
Placements: Around 75% of the students in our batch got placed through campus. The others are on their way to do higher studies. Many companies come through Amcat examination and choose candidates.
Infrastructure: Laboratories available in our college were up to date. All the software used were updated. The electrical components and the mechanical components were the top techs as we were with an alliance with the French University and they believe in updating the tech to keep up with the outside world and make students industry-ready. The food served was one of the best you can find in any college.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were excellent. They were the best in teaching us as per the university guidelines. They always go the extra mile in learning and teaching students the latest tech so that they do not lag behind. As students, they instil the though if exploring and learning through many mini-projects.
Other: Our college has very good connections with foreign universities. So the summer internships are offered every year to different universities abroad, and they are a golden opportunity to stay out of the crowd.

In LICET, we have the best days of our college life.
Placements: Placement opportunities are good in our college but not as expected as per the current trend. However, our college tries to place all the interested students by providing opportunities like internships and proper training. Not all companies visit our campus for placements, but companies like TCS recruit many students. Placements depend on CGPA. Students who have arrears are allowed to attend placements depending on the companies request. If a student got placed in a company, then they will not likely be able to attend placements in any other company. However, overall, the performance of students play a major role, and grabbing the opportunities is necessary. Our college tries its best.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of our college is good, and there are plenty of trees which create a good atmosphere. The infrastructure of the laboratories and classrooms is good. The canteen is not very spacious, and the amount charged for food is not worth enough, but it depends on the contractor. Wi-Fi facilities are available only within the labs, and not all the labs are air-conditioned. All the departments are on the same campus. Sports and games can be accessed only after the college hours, and there is a medical facility within the campus which does not meet the expectations. There is a common room for boys and girls, which is well-equipped and is useful. There are also lockers which can be used by the students after paying some amount. Libraries are quite well-equipped with books.
Faculty: The relation between faculty members and students is good. Faculty members go beyond their extent to help students, and they are well-equipped with skills. The course curriculum of 2017 is more relevant to the current trend. There are seminars and guest talks, which are useful.
Other: Our college conducts cultural activities, college day and sports day, and there are mentoring sessions which can be useful. Our college is NBA accredited, so the fee is also increased. The fee structure changes for management and government quota students.

It is a good college if you are a studious guy.
Placements: Placement opportunities were good, except that you need more CGPA. If you have an arrear, you won't be allowed for the placements. Otherwise, they are good. There are good companies, which visit the college to the students in bulk like TCS. Most of the students with good CGPA get through easily, whether you pass or not, it is in your hands.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi won't be available. Labs and other stuff are great. All the departments are within the same building, unlike other colleges, where each department have their own block. The overall view of the college building is great when it is viewed from the top.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, while some teachers just have one goal in their mind 'rush up and finish the syllabus'. Although some staffs are great at teaching, they teach you the concept rather than rushing through the syllabus. Faculty members are always present, and there hasn't come a situation where there aren't any faculty to handle a subject.
