Very good placements in 2018.

Placements: 100% students get placed. The lowest package is 3lpa and the highest package is 26lpa. Zoho, Google, Accenture, laser & turbo, CTS, tcs, etc. are the top recruiters. Every student gets his/her internship from my course in core companies.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided in the laboratories, classrooms, and department halls are very good. The speed of wi-fi is very good. Rooms in the hostel are very neat. The quality of food provided in the canteen/mess is good for non-veg eaters.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They clear our doubts always and they are highly qualified and knowledgeable faculty members. The difficulty level of the semester exams is easy for me. According to anna university's regulations, internals (40) +externals (60)= full marks (100). Min 50 marks are required to pass in the semester exams.

This college is a very good college.

Placements: About 90% of students are surely placed in a year. The highest salary package offered to a student is 2 LPA. Students are placed in the top recruiting companies like TCS, CTS, and Cognizant. The students are offered the highest positions in our college.

Infrastructure: Our college has a good Wi-Fi facility, well-furnished classrooms, and the best library in Chennai. The college is good at sports and games. There is a huge ground to play. There are also well-furnished hostels with the best food and good taste. It has a lovely atmosphere on campus.

Faculty: Teachers are very kind in our college. They are always ready to help and to guide for exams. This course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are very easy to attend as the teachers guide during the exams.

Other: Compared to other courses, IT has more scope in the upcoming years all over the world.

It has good exposure and facilities as well as faculty members. It has excellent placement records.

Placements: Almost everyone from our batch got placed in reputed companies offering dream and super dream offers. There is friendly staff and they provide excellent coaching for placements. The average salary package offered in the year 2021-2022 is 4.8 LPA. Internships are mandatory to be completed before 3rd-year completion.

Infrastructure: Classrooms blocks have excellent infrastructure. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and we have well-equipped research centers and laboratories. The food served is also average. Hostel infrastructure is excellent, and we have 24X7 hot water facilities and only vegetarian food will be provided in the hostel.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful. The commitment they show to the students is exceptional. SVCE offers CBCS that allows students to learn subjects they prefer. Exams question papers are application-oriented most probably. The pass percentage is 50%. They give equal importance to both internal and external exams.

Other: I opted for B.Tech Information Technology. SVCE is the first college in India to introduce information technology. It is quite interesting and moreover, I took IT because of its vast job opportunities around the world. Frequent professional academic events are held. We have an eco-friendly, green campus. There is a cricket ground where many tournaments are held. Culturals are a bit less fun compared to other engineering colleges in Chennai. Mostly they bring Vijay TV fame.

It is one of the best colleges in Chennai.

Placements: In our college, nearly 95% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the average salary package offered is 15 LPA. Almost 70% of the students got an internship. Top recruiting companies of our college are Inplant Training, Auxo Technologies, Comcast, etc. Top roles offered are a biomedical engineer and web developer.

Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure and facilities, SVCE is the best in Chennai. It is one of the few colleges in the university of Chennai with highly upgraded classrooms facilities with modern technology. Wi-Fi is available everywhere. SVCE library is an empowering unit, and it is fully air-conditioned. The hostel is spacious, and 4 members can stay in a room. Mess food is good. There is a separate medical block, and our college also gives equal importance to sports.

Faculty: Staff members are very helpful in teaching. Quality of teaching is quite good with friendly and approachable faculty members. Our college only appoints good professors. In the MBA, the case study mode is on the wane, with industry interaction and live projects, which bring the norm of the day. For making students job-ready, education institutes are fast adapting the curriculum which meets industry needs.

Other: I have chosen B.Tech in information technology because of my own interest, and I also like coding. Coding is very interesting. In our course, all students get placed easily, which is an interesting thing. There is nothing to improve as it is good. Our college conducts programs weekly once.

Placements: SVCE comes in the list of top colleges in Chennai and that's because of its placement records, You will get to see a placement of more than 98% with top recruiting organizations like TCS, Wipro, TVS, Infosys and many other top companies. There is a dedicated Placement cell with outstanding faculty members who are professionals in their fields and they make sure that each student gets placed. Also, placement training happens at the beginning of every year which helps the students to brush up their vocal skills, logical, reasoning, and basic technical skills. All in all, the placements in SVCE are on-par with most of the top colleges in Chennai.

Infrastructure: The greenery around the campus is excellent and it is well maintained. Each block is provided with comfortable and spacious corridors, wide stairs, and proper ventilation. The canteen food tastes a little average on some days of the week but on other days of the week, the food tastes good. Each department has its own set of air-conditioned labs depending upon the type of the lab (Labs with computers are always air-conditioned). Our college has also got the largest 3-storey library with a huge and vast collection of books which the students can make use for projects, research and development purposes.

Faculty: Speaking about the courses, I can say that all the courses have an appropriate curriculum and similar to any other affiliated college. The faculty members are well knowledgeable and you can approach hassle-free. All classrooms are equipped with projectors and have seperate Wi-Fi for each floor. So teachers often make use of internet to delivery the best resources to their students.

Other: When it comes to organizing events, We leave no stone unturned. Our college organizes several inter-college hackathons, Sport fests where students from several different college participate and showcase their talents. During the culturals, the college invites special chief guests who are an inspiration to all students. The network connectivity is pretty good and there is not any major issue regarding that.

Placements in the college are good, and the infrastructure is great.

Placements: Placements in our college were good. Reliable placement opportunities were offered to the students with a good CGPA. The college assures almost 90% placements. Top companies like Dell, Zoho Corp, Akamai etc., visited our campus for recruitment. The placement cell was approachable. If you become a coordinator in the placement cell, then you will get the best experience.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was great. The campus is huge, and it's located nearby Sri Perumbadur. The sports ground was well-maintained, especially the cricket pitch, and it hosted numerous matches. The academic blocks were good with lab facilities.

Faculty: The course curriculum is updated for every 2 or 3 years according to the industry needs and expectations. The faculty members were resourceful and have industry tie-ups which helped us during internships. There were mini projects in our college, and that gave us some idea about the industry problems in the real world. The faculty members were knowledgeable.

Placements: The college provides 99% placements for sure. The placed students will get the minimum package of 3.25 LPA. The highest package offered was 10 LPA. Data analytics, software developer, networks, cyber security, marketing and sales, app and web developer, almost all types of roles are offered to the students. Till now, almost 80% of the students got placed, but many more companies visit the campus in the next year, i.e., in our last semester. Product-based companies visit the campus. Internships are provided based on the companies. The placement cell and the placement officer of our college are very good and very helpful to us to get placed in well-reputed companies. The placement officer and coordinators are the best.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. A digital library is available with the books of prescribed authors. Sports and games are excellent. Overall, classrooms, labs, hostel rooms, everything is good. You cannot find any issues with the infrastructure. Food provided is not much good.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful for students in everything. Industrial visits are organised every year. Courses and lab exercises are helpful for us. Faculty members use their respective laptop to project the slides to teach, and they also use the board. By concentrating on the respective course, one can perform very well.

Other: Symposium is conducted by every department, every year.

The infrastructure of the college is good. There were very good placements till 2018.

Placements: Many companies will be visiting for placements starting from your 7th semester. The maximum number of companies are from the IT industry, and till now 95% of students from the IT branch have got placed while one or two remaining students were not eligible. You must clear your papers from semester 1 and get some coding knowledge and good communication skills, which is more than enough to get placed.

Infrastructure: I have joined SVCE only for its infrastructure because they have excellent facilities, infrastructure and peaceful environment. The campus is covered by green environment. There are good lab facilities and good lab infrastructures here.

Faculty: Faculty members of the college will help you out in any circumstances. They will complete the portions on time, will be up to date, and will be very friendly to help you. But here, it isn't like school as you have to study by yourself. Faculty members will clear your doubts.
