College faculty is good, with placements and infrastructure.
Placements: Many students are placed from our department, and since our department, CSBS, is TCS-oriented, TCS has introduced this specialization which comes under the CSE core department. It increases your speaking skills as there are language labs too. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, LTIMindtree, and Infosys. Almost 90% of students got placed. 5 LPA is the average package.
Infrastructure: Quality of the food in the canteen of TMSL is good and also pocket-friendly. Other canteens on the campus are also good, like the biryani canteen, which is good and affordable. The library is also a good place for study and is air-conditioned, so there is a bit of chaos sometimes, but you can plug in headphones and do your own work like writing, etc. There is no specific Wi-Fi for students, it only works for faculty members. Other facilities in the labs are good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, especially the maths teacher sovik sir in our first year, who is very supportive and qualified. The course curriculum is relevant. To pass the semester, you need to start studying from the PYQs, and PDFs, and organize them at least from 1 month ago. At the last moment, just go through the PYQs. Papers are moderate to hard, not easy. Try to write relevant things related to the questions to pass, and draw diagrams.
Other: Fest culture here is very good, with lots of clubs to get engaged with and many events from all the clubs. The classrooms, like all should be, ought to be air-conditioned.

It provides great infrastructure and facilities. But faculty members need improvement.
Placements: In my course, Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS), around 85% of students were placed in various companies by the end of the final year. The highest salary package offered ranges from around 10 LPA - 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered varies between about 3 LPA - 4 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies for our course include TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, and Accenture. Around 70-75% of students secured internships in companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Capgemini, and Wipro. Top roles offered to our batch are software developer, system analyst, data analyst, and business analyst.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS) course at Techno Main Salt Lake is well-equipped with modern classrooms, and projectors. Classrooms are clean, but I feel the space could be more spacious. There is no hostel for students and they have to go for private PG.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good overall, with a mix of lectures, practical sessions, and assignments. However, some students feel the curriculum could include more hands-on experience and exposure to newer technologies to be more industry-ready. The course curriculum is relevant. But there is a need for more updates as syllabus does not match with the course.
Other: The campus is lively during events and fests, especially the annual Techno Fiesta and Edge, which bring a great crowd together. The campus surroundings are peaceful. But there is limited nightlife unless there is an event. Connectivity is good with local transport.

A good college for placements in West Bengal.
Placements: If students study well, they get good placements in TCS and Wipro with an average salary package of 4 LPA. Many students of our college got the highest salary package off-campus of 30 LPA. A senior student got placed at Google in 2023. Top roles offered are SDE, full-stack developer, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college does not have a hostel. But there are rooms nearby. Our college has a very good environment. It has many Wi-Fi connections. Labs are good but not very good. The computer science department is excellent. Our college provides 1 computer for each student. There are 5 lifts in this college.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. Computer science faculty members are excellent. Their behavior is very good. Most of them are Ph.D. holders from well-known universities. For the semester, students have to study well to pass. The study curriculum is very good in our college. Our college has a very good environment for IT students.
Other: I chose this course because I got a TFW seat. Placements in this course are excellent. This course is the same as computer science.

Good university, a little bit expensive.
Placements: Each and every student of our college gets placements. The students generally get placed in the 8th semester. The brilliant students get placed in well-known companies, while average and below-average students also find placements in other companies with different packages. None of the students from our college remain unemployed. A good number of companies visit our college and make a significant number of offers. The highest package among them was offered to a student from LinkedIn, which was about 60 LPA, and the average package is around 8-9 LPA. About 80% of students were placed. My plan is to pursue higher studies like M.Tech.
Infrastructure: The campus life of this college is awesome. There is a swimming pool and a beautiful medium-sized playground inside the campus. Around 1,500 computers are available in the computer lab, and there are approximately 90,000 books in the library. EDGE and ANAKHRONOS are the largest annual tech fests of my college, and the timing of these fests may vary due to epidemics. The SAMARTH club helps in the preparation for civil services at my college. The Robotics club is the most popular club in Kolkata from my college and assists students in the field of robotics science. Some social clubs inspire students to engage in tree plantation, blood donation, and other social activities. There is also a sports club that supports students interested in sports. The campus features a well-sized playground, a good-sized library, separate labs for all subjects, Wi-Fi facilities, and it is very neat and clean. The library strength is approximately 200. We often play cricket, football, and volleyball on campus.
Faculty: The faculty of my college is very kind and helpful. They are highly educated with numerous degrees and extensive experience. Their teaching methods are exceptional, making them stand out. We can approach our teachers anytime, as they are always available for assistance. My favorite faculty members are Gouri Shankar Pal Sir, who teaches Physics exceptionally well; Dola Roy Choudhury Ma'am, the HOD of our Physics department, who teaches Physics beautifully; and Jana Sir, a very experienced and trained teacher of Electrical Engineering.

Good college in West Bengal.
Placements: Student starts sitting for placement from 6th sem, If you have good knowledge of data structures algorithms and DBMS you can surely crack this interview. Companies most visits are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Odessa Technologies, LTE etc. With an average package of 4-5 LPA and the highest package is 12 LPA in TCS digital. In the information technology and CSE branch, almost 90% got placed. I plan to sit for placement and do the job for 2-3 years then I want to start something my own. Techno India presents a suitable platform for interaction between recruiting organizations and final-year students. In collaboration with the recruiting companies, the institute conducts interviews for the selection of the brightest students. Internships conducted by reputed MNCs allow students to sneak a peek into the underlying reality of the corporate world. The recruiters assess the true capabilities of the selected handful by monitoring their performance in real-world tasks.
Infrastructure: The campus has a basketball and cricket ground. The whole campus has Wi-Fi but sometimes it doesn't work. The library is big enough, it has almost all the books. A person can sit for the whole day and read books in the library. We have more than 10 labs in our college and all the equipment is in workable condition. The campus life is awesome and amazing. There are a lot of activities to engage in. There are a few indoor games like carrom, and table tennis available. Also for outdoor, there is a big ground for sports activities. We have a few clubs for cultural, and sports activities where the students can engage their selves in their own choice. The campus is getting beautiful day by day, new buildings are being built. The whole campus is well-maintained and clean.
Faculty: The faculty of our college are very friendly and helpful. They teach us very calmly and politely. My favourite faculty members are Gouri Shankar Pal sir, Who teaches us Physics in a very good way, Dola Roy Choudhury Ma'am, who is the HOD of our Physics department and teaches Physics very beautifully, Jana sir is a very experienced and trained teacher of electrical. Techno is UGC approved and under the Makaut board. Semesters take place half-yearly. In Dec and June. The number of semesters varies course-wise. We have 6 semesters. Honesty. It's not difficult to pass if you study only before exams.
