Yes, the National Institute of Design (NID) has released the fee structure for students joining design courses from 2026-2027. The fee structure has been released for both the B.Des and M.Des programs.
The combined tuition fees for the B.Des that candidates have to pay in eight semesters in the academic session 2026- 2027 is 2,25,000 per semester. For semester 1, the total fees without hostel is 2,26,900 and for semester 2 is 2,25,500.

How to take admission in NID M.Des at Ahmedabad?
The step-wise admission process for NID DAT 2026 is given below, starting from application submission to the allotment of seats.
- Fill out the NID DAT Application Form - Eligible candidates have to duly fill NID DAT Application form.
- Appear in DAT Prelims - Candidate must appear for the NID DAT Prelims. The prelims exam will be held offline in pen/pencil paper mode.
- Appear for NID DAT Mains - DAT Mains will comprise a Studio Test; M.Des candidates will also have to appear in an online interview round. In the studio test for NID admissions, aspirants are given hands-on practical assignments, which they need to complete within the stipulated time.
- Check NID DAT Final Result - DAT Prelims and NID DAT Mains performance are considered to prepare the NID FINAL results.
- Appear for Counselling: Appear for NID Counselling based on cutoff and other factors. Pay the fees and get admission.
