As per the AMUEEE exam pattern, the paper will consist of objective multiple-choice questions. Each question will have four options, out of which the correct one has to be selected by the candidates. AMUEEE 2018 exam pattern for BArch course is such that candidates need to appear for two papers on the same day. Duration of each paper of the exam is three hours.

While paper I will be an objective test (as explained in the table below), paper II will be an Architecture aptitude test. Paper II will contain descriptive questions as well as a drawing test. The official website informs, “Candidates are advised to bring their own drawing and sketching material like pencils, eraser, sharpener, pen, ink, pencil colours, water colours etc. Drawing sheets and/or answer booklet shall be provided to the candidates.”

Note: In order to be eligible for BArch admissions in AMU, candidates should clear paper II with at least 40% marks.

Is the AMUEEE cutoff different for every category?

The AMUEEE cutoff will vary as per the category and courses selected by the students. There are chances that the cutoff will be higher for popular courses. General category students are also expected to have higher cutoffs than reserved category students.
