MHT CET Question Paper PDF: Aspirants of the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test can download the MHT CET previous year papers here. The MHT CET question paper PDFs are available for free. The MHT CET question papers are considered a good resource during both preparation and revision. Practising these papers will help candidates know the difficulty level, understand the subject-wise weightage and the various types of questions asked in MHT CET 2026.

As per the information brochure, the difficulty level of the MHT CET exam will be similar to JEE Mains; thus, candidates can also practice the last 5 years' question paper of JEE Main with solutions. CET Cell will prepare the MHT CET 2026 question paper by giving 80% weightage to class 12th topics and the remaining to class 11th topics.

PCM and PCB aspirants must practice the last 10 year papers of MHT CET to test their preparation. The authorities will soon release the official MHT CET 2026 mock test for registered candidates to get familiar with the test format. Official MHT CET Question Paper

The CET Cell will release the official MHT CET question papers at cetcell.mahacet.org, a few days after the exam. Along with the question paper, the authority will also upload the candidate response sheet and answer key. To download the MHT CET question paper and answer key, candidates need to log in using their application form number and password. Candidates can use the MHT CET answer key and response sheet to calculate their probable scores before the MHT CET 2026 result is declared.

A: 

Candidates are advised to take at least 10 to 15 mock tests in the last one month before appearing for the real examination. The Maharashtra CET Cell releases mock tests to help students prepare for the exam. Mock tests are released online and can be practiced using laptop/desktop computer. Difficulty level of the mock tests is similar to the actual exam and is prepared from the syllabus and topics prescribed for the MHT CET exam. Online MHT CET mock test will help students to analyze their preparation level.

Q:   Is there a negative marking in MHT CET?
A: 

MHT CET paper do not have negative marking for incorrect answer. In MHT CET exam, Physics and Chemistry question is of 1 marks. No marks are deducted for unattempted questions. For any question, if none of the options is found correct or a question is found to be wrong or dropped, then full marks will be awarded to all candidates irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate.

Q:   Do I need to attempt all the questions in MHT CET exam?
A: 

It is not compulsory to attempt all the question in MHT CET exam. Students are advised to attempt only those questions for which  they know the correct answer. Questions for which the answer is not sure should be left. However, as there is NO negative marking in MHT CET exam,  questions for which answer is doubtful can be attempted in last. Students gets All India Rank based on the marks they secure in exam and gets admission based on that rank.

How to Attempt MHT CET Mock Test

To take the online MHT CET mock test 2026, follow instructions given here

  1. Open MHT CET official website
  2. Click on the mock test link and select your subject group- PCM or PCB
  3. Read all the mock test guidelines and click on submit button to start mock paper
  4. Once the candidate completes the test, click on submit button.
  5. The score will appear on the screen post completion of test

The syllabus of MHT CET is not similar to the Maharashtra Board class 11 and 12. Only a few chapters of Class 11 are covered in MHT CET syllabus. However, the entire class 12 syllabus is part of MHT CET syllabus. Also, the dificulty level of MHT CET is similar to JEE Mains.
