GATE 2017 Organising Institute Announced
The organising institute for GATE 2017 is IIT Roorkee, according to latest information the institute will be conducting GATE 2017 on February 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2017. Check GATE 2017 exam dates here. GATE 2017 Preparation: 12 Months Study Plan
GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is a qualifying exam for admissions to post-graduate programs (e.g., M.E., M.Tech, direct Ph.D.) in Indian institutes of higher education with financial assistance provided by MHRD and other Government agencies. GATE scores may also be used by Public and Private Sector.
M.Tech Entrance Examinations in India
To be eligible for GATE 2017, aspirants must have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology (4 years after 10+2 or 3 years after diploma in Engineering /Technology) and those who are in the final year of such programmes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Five year course) and those who are in the final year of such programmes.
- Bachelor’s degree of four year programme in Science (B.Sc) and those who are in the final year of such programmes.
