IIT Hyderabad Cutoff 2015 For OBC All India Category 

For the OBC ALL India category candidates, the Round 1 cutoff for BTech ranged between 503 and 3002, among which CSE was the most competitive specialisation. For all the BTech specialisations, candidates can refer to the table given below:

Q:   What are the opening and closing ranks for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Hyderabad?
A:

The opening and closing rank for IIT Hyderabad cutoff depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 604 and closing rank was 674. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 128 and 1300. Admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Hyderabad - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

Q:   What are the types of JEE Advanced cutoffs?
A:

There are two types of Joint Entrance Examination Advanced cutoffs: qualifying and admission cutoffs.

The qualifying cutoff is released with the result. Last year, the cutoff marks were 74 marks for the Common Rank List (CRL); 66 for GEN-EWS rank list & OBC rank list; 37 marks for SC, ST and PWD rank lists; and 18 marks for Preparatory course rank lists.

The admission cutoff will be released during the seat allotment process by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The admission cutoff is released round-wise in the form of closing ranks for all courses and categories.

During the IIT Hyderabad cutoff 2015, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 385 and 1477, among which CSE was the most competitive specialisation. As compared to the above two categories, the cutoff is comparatively on the lower side for the SC category candidates. Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the general category under All India, the opening rank was 2076 and the closing rank was 2196.
