NIT Trichy alumni donates $3 million for research

NIT Trichy would be having more doctorates willing to donate $3 million in the next two years to make sure the institution produced more research scholars irrespective of engineering verticals.

Recently, the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Trichy informed that its alumni have vowed to donate $3 million for the purpose of research and development on the premises of NIT Trichy. HCL Technologies' corporate vice-president and an alumnus of NIT-Trichy Srimathi Shivashankar exclaimed that the WIN-NITT podium would authorise and lead to the networking of women alumni which would be fruitful to college and self. WIN-NITT happens to be the women's chain of NIT Trichy. The motive behind WIN-NITT is to motivate and help the women alumnus achieve their career aspirations by means of networking and support from NIT-Trichy alumnus.

Mini Shaji Thomas, Director at NIT Trichy, said that there has been a whole lot of transformation from the perspective of all the past students of the college. They are enthusiast to fund significantly for the overall growth of the institution. As per the press release of the institute, the NIT would be having more doctorates willing to donate the $3 million in the next two years to make sure the institution produced more research scholars irrespective of engineering verticals.

National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) council chairman R Chandrasekhar informed that a world-class stadium was being deliberated at a budget of Rs 6.20 crore. He hoped the work to start in the following six months and to complete it by the end of 2021.
