In my college, online classes are being conducted as we are now left with some of the syllabus as end-term exams which usually used to get conducted by the end of May every year. So, my college faculty is trying to complete the same as early as possible. Recently, the university has announced that the end-term exam date is tentative for now and they will let us know the same at least 15 days before the scheduled exam.

Honestly, this is the current situation of most of the universities in the country. The professor of each subject is conducting the online classes for about an hour or more depending on the topic being discussed. One of the major issues right now is that some of the students do not have a good internet connection. Sometimes the teacher keeps on discussing the topic, and due to some technical error some of the students miss these concepts, and then the teachers have to repeat the same, which is a time-consuming task with no other solution.

In online classes, the teaching speed is slow as we are not familiar with all the platforms.

There are few more challenges like on a single day if the teachers have decided to take more classes then the students would require more internet data. In case, any student is having any doubt about the assignment then the procedure is to contact the faculty. To attend every single student via video conferencing is more time-consuming. At the end of the lecture, the teachers share the important YouTube links with us so that if someone needs more information on a particular topic, they could refer these links for that.

After completing a certain topic, our teacher gives us assignments which most of us can complete within time. Then we have to submit it online. There will be only one submission for each project whether it is good or bad and the grades will be given accordingly. However, we could discuss the solution after the submission of it with our faculty. For any reference or help, we are free to use any online platform and learn rather than just copy-pasting the information.

Lab classes which require physical devices are not being conducted but as CS students we have to practice coding or learn cloud technology which could be done online, so the lab sessions are being conducted for us. As few of us won’t have a good quality laptop or accessories, then it is a problem, right now we won’t come up with any solution for them.

My college has issued a contact number in which we can call for any non-academic problems which are related to the current lockdown situation. For example, if any student who lives outside the campus and will not be able to arrange food for themselves, or there is something else in which you want college help so they are always available on that number.

LPU can be considered for Aerospace Engineering, especially if you're looking for a university with a large campus and opportunities for practical learning, projects and industry exposure.

For placements, I wouldn't choose any college based only on the highest package advertised. Aerospace is a speci

If you're comparing LPU and Chandigarh University for B.Tech, the answer depends on what you're looking for as a student.

On paper, Chandigarh University currently holds a higher NIRF Engineering ranking, while LPU is also among the top-ranked engineering institutions in Punjab and India.

What I usual

LPU is a good option for management studies like BBA, particularly if you want a mix of classroom learning, practical exposure, industry interaction and opportunities to develop business skills. The BBA curriculum is designed around areas such as management, business operations and entrepreneurship,

If you're comparing SRM, LPU, and Manipal for B.Tech Biotechnology, I'd say LPU is the best option to consider. It offers good practical exposure, industry interaction, internships, research opportunities, and placement support. So, if your main focus is on overall learning and career opportunities,

If you have a significantly better college option, choose it over LPU. Otherwise, LPU CSE is a reasonable choice, especially with a good scholarship. Don't reject LPU based on rumours; judge it by your actual alternatives, fees and placement outcomes.

For BTech, the three are not exactly the same, but the core preparation overlaps heavily.

  • LPU NEST: Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics, with English depending on the programme. The syllabus is essentially Class 11–12 PCM level.

  • Chitkara: For regular BTech, Chitkara currently mainly uses Class 12 eligib

Both LPU and Galgotias are fairly popular options for B.Tech CSE, so I'd suggest comparing the actual course structure, fees, coding environment, internships and placement records before deciding. Don't choose only because one university is more talked about online.

If you're okay with moving to Punj
