SAIL Recruitment through GATE 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian national/citizen.
Qualifying Examination: Candidate must have completed full-time BTech degree y. Department candidates who are AMIE qualified are eligible.
Pass Percentage:

General and OBC (NCL) category - minimum 65% aggregate marks
- SC/ ST and PwD category - minimum 55% aggregate marks
Final year students: They are not eligible to take the examination.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for the General category candidates is 28 years.

SAIL Recruitment Application Form 2025
Registration for SAIL GATE recruitment will take place online. Candidates can only apply for one discipline, and GATE 2025 scores will be valid for the SAIL recruitment. Candidates must register, fill out their personal and academic details, and enter their GATE 2025 registration number.
They will also be required to upload a recent photo, signature, left thumb impression, and a scanned copy of the GATE 2025 admit card. In the next step, the applicant will receive a verification link on his/ her registered email ID.
Candidates need to click the link in the email to verify their candidacy. Now, candidates can further start the online payment process for the application. Click on the "Make Payment" link, select the category, and enter the correct unique SAIL registration number. Candidates can check their application status after 24 hours. After the confirmation, candidates can download their Provisional Registration Slip with the SAIL Unique Registration number. Candidates receiving the Provisional registration slip will be considered for the recruitment process.

SAIL Recruitment through GATE 2025 - Selection Process
Below are the important steps of selection procedure of SAIL. Have a look:
- Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on GATE 2025 scores/ranks.
- After this, there will be the next round of personal interviews.
- For the PI round, candidates need to carry all the original documents (degrees and mark sheets).
- If a candidate qualifies the personal interview round, he/she will have to meet the required medical parameters as laid down by SAIL.
- The final selection will be done based on a merit list prepared on the basis of the below-given merits.
