About HAL

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited or HAL is an Indian state-owned public sector company responsible for aircraft design, manufacturing, and maintenance. HAL headquartered in Bangalore and it is the major vendor for the Indian Air force and Indian Navy. Q:   What are passing marks in GATE exam?
A: 

Passing marks in GATE exam is different for all 30 papers. The GATE qualifying mark for PSUs recruitment is also different. Candidates appearing in any GATE paper have to obtain the minimum mark in order to be declared qualified for the exam. Only qualified candidates are considered for admission to MTech/MSc/PhD programs and the MHRD scholarship. Candidates can check the previous year GATE cutoff for various papers on the Shiksha page or from the GATE official website.

Q:   What are the eligibility criteria for COAP?

Q:   For how many papers can one student apply in GATE 2026?
A: 

Students applying for GATE 2025 can opt for two subject papers from the prescribed set of combinations. Earlier, the candidates could apply to appear in only one subject. As a candidate can appear in only two papers (only approved set) of the 30 papers for which the GATE 2025 will be conducted, they must carefully choose the papers they wish to write. A candidate is expected to appear in the papers appropriate to the discipline of his or her qualifying degree. However, he or she is free to choose any paper according to his or her admission plan, keeping in mind the GATE eligibility criteria of the institutions in which he or she wishes to seek admission. For more details regarding the admission criteria at any particular institute, the candidate is advised to refer to the websites of that institute. Those candidates opting for two paper combinations for GATE 2025 have a primary choice of paper as their default choice. The second choice of paper has to be chosen from the combinations allowed. HAL Recruitment through GATE 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Below are the HAL eligibility criteria for recruitment through GATE 2025. Have a look:

Nationality: The candidates must be of Indian Nationality.

Pass Percentage:
  • General and OBC (NCL) category: They must have passed their BE/BTech Degree in related stream from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum aggregate of 65% marks.
  • Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / People With Disability: They must have passed their BE/BTech Degree in related stream from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks.
  • Final Year Candidates: They must apply by providing the satisfying eligibility criteria and provide proof of the same at the time of the interview. The applicants should have a valid GATE 2025 score.
Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 21 Years as in February 2020 and maximum age limit is 28 Years as in February 2020.
