How to practice time management inside the TS EAMCET 2025 exam hall?
Here are some top tips to maximise your marks without burning out during the exam-
1. Go through the instructions carefully
Read all the instructions before you begin the exam. Understand the exam scheme properly.
2. Start with the strongest section
Attempt the subject you're most confident about first (Physics, Chemistry, or Maths/Biology). This builds early momentum and boosts your confidence for tougher sections.
3. Use the first pass strategy
In the first round, answer only the easy and moderate questions you can solve quickly. Skip the lengthy or confusing ones for now- don’t get stuck. It can waste a lot of time.
4. Time Management is the key
Divide your 3-hour paper wisely:
- Maths/Biology – 80 minutes
- Physics – 50 minutes
- Chemistry – 50 minutes
Adjust based on your comfort level. Always leave the last 15–20 minutes to review all the questions attempted.
5. Avoid overthinking
Trust your first instinct for MCQS. If you're 70–80% sure of an answer, go with it. Overthinking often leads to changing the right answers to wrong ones.
6. Use the elimination technique while attempting tough questions
If you're unsure, eliminate obviously wrong options first. This increases your chances of guessing the right answer.
7. Keep an eye on the timer
Keep a track on the clock after every 20–30 questions to stay on track. Don’t panic. Try adjusting your pace slightly if you're falling behind.
8. Stay calm in difficult situations
If you get stuck, take 5 deep breaths and move on to the next question. Wasting too much time on one question can cost you easy marks elsewhere.
9. Try to attempt all the questions
Since there’s usually no negative marking, attempt all questions, even if unsure. A smart guess is better than leaving it blank.
10. Keep at least 15 to 20 minutes for review
Use the last few minutes to recheck the answers you've marked for review, correct silly mistakes, and ensure no question is left unattempted.
Go in with a cool head, a clear plan, and believe in your preparation.

If candidates have focused well in their 10 and 10+2 classes, they can easily qualify in the exam. The question paper is similar to popular engineering entrance exams such as JEE Mains, but the difficulty level is of easy to moderate.
