2. JNTUH Remains a Favourite (30%)

Close behind, JNTU Hyderabad secured 30%, proving why it is one of the most preferred engineering institutions in Telangana. JNTUH is known for its industry-oriented curriculum, robust faculty, and high placement rates; hence, it attracts a significant share of toppers and mid-rankers.

3. University of Hyderabad Gains Popularity (18%)

The University of Hyderabad garnered 18% of the votes, showing an interesting shift in perception, possibly driven by the university’s expanding science and technology departments and research-focused academic environment.

4. Private & Backup Choices - 8 and 9%

SR University and “Any college will do” have received 8 and 9% respectively. This reflects two realities-

Q:   Can I appear in the counselling, if I have got admission through JEE/EAMCET?
A:

Yes, if you got admission through JEE/EAMCET, you can still appear for VSAT counselling, provided they have qualified in VSAT exam and hold a good rank. However, before finalising college, you must compare the college based on the fees, facilities and faculties.

Q:   Can I get the desired programme in my desired SRM campus if I got selected in SRMJEEE round I counselling?
A:
If you are selected in the SRMJEEE Round I counseling, you will be given the opportunity to choose your desired programme and campus based on availability at the time of your selection. However, please note that the availability of programs and campuses may vary depending on the number of seats available and the competition for those seats. Therefore, while you may be able to choose your desired programme and campus, there is no guarantee that your first choice will be available. It is important to consider your second and third choices as well, and to be prepared to make a decision based on the options available to you at the time of your selection.
  • Students may be aiming for private institutions with good infrastructure and management quota options.
  • Some candidates are open to any institution due to rank, budget, or lack of information.

These poll insights reveal real-time shifts in student preferences. If you are heading into counselling, remember:

  • Choose a college based on placements, location, faculty, and student reviews.
  • Prepare a list of safe, moderate, and dream colleges based on your rank.
  • Stay updated on mock allotments and cutoff ranks.

Some of the best books are NCERT books, however, students can also take help from supplementary books, but over burdening oneself is not recommended.

If candidates have focused well in their 10 and 10+2 classes, they can easily qualify in the exam. The question paper is similar to popular engineering entrance exams such as JEE Mains, but the difficulty level is of easy to moderate.
