Latest Updates:
- TS EAMCET 2025 round 1 mock seat allotment result OUT: exercise options before July 15
- TS EAMCET 2025 institute profile list OUT for web-option entry: check college code
Here’s a breakdown of the current results:
- Any top college – 35%
- Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) – 31%
- University of Hyderabad – 18%
- SR University – 8%
- Any college will do – 9%
With these poll results, let’s decode what this means for TS EAMCET counselling and your decision-making process.
For the doument verification, candidates need to arrange the following documents:
TS EAMCET rank card 2025
TS EAMCET 2025 hall ticket
Aadhaar card
SSC or its equivalent mark sheet
6th standard to inter-study certificates
Transfer Certificate (T.C) and Intermediate certificate
Income certificate (if applicable) and Caste certificate issued by competent authority
Domicile certificate of either self or parents in Telangana for a period of 10 years in case of Non-Local candidates
Eligibility certificate for Physically challenged (PH)/Children of Armed Personnel (CAP)/NCC/Sports/Minority certificate if applicable
The highest number of poll participants — 35% — selected "Any top college" as their preference. This shows that many students are looking for quality education and secure career prospects over specific institutions. For these aspirants, what matters the most is the brand value, placement records, infrastructure, and faculty quality than the name of the university itself. In addition, it also reflects a strong level of awareness among candidates about the long-term impact of college reputation in placements and postgraduate opportunities.

2. JNTUH Remains a Favourite (30%)
Close behind, JNTU Hyderabad secured 30% of the votes, proving once again why it is one of the most coveted engineering institutions in Telangana. Known for its industry-oriented curriculum, robust faculty, and high placement rates, JNTUH continues to attract a significant share of TS EAMCET toppers and mid-rankers.
This also suggests that students with good ranks are aiming for the best possible institutions within the state.
3. University of Hyderabad Gains Popularity (18%)
While not traditionally a top choice via TS EAMCET for engineering, the University of Hyderabad garnered 18% of the votes. This shows an interesting shift in perception, possibly driven by the university’s expanding science and technology departments and research-focused academic environment.
Students looking for interdisciplinary opportunities and higher studies in research may be considering this as a strong alternative
4. Private & Backup Choices – 8 and 9%
SR University and “Any college will do” have received 8 and 9% respectively. This reflects two realities-
- Students may be aiming for private institutions with good infrastructure and management quota options.
- Some candidates are open to any institution due to rank, budget constraints, or lack of information.
These poll insights reveal real-time shifts in student preferences. If you’re heading into counselling, remember:
- Choose based on placements, location, faculty, and student reviews.
- Don’t forget to prepare a list of safe, moderate, and dream colleges based on your rank.
- Stay updated on mock allotments and TS EAMCET 2025 cutoff ranks.

If candidates have focused well in their 10 and 10+2 classes, they can easily qualify in the exam. The question paper is similar to popular engineering entrance exams such as JEE Mains, but the difficulty level is of easy to moderate.
