Engineering Colleges accepting JEE Main for B.Tech in Delhi/NCR

IIT Delhi BTech admission 2025 is based on JEE Advanced scores. Though the institute records high cutoffs every year, with adequate preparation, anyone can seek admission to its BTech programme. Candidates need to be thorough with their Class 11 and Class 12 syllabus to crack the exam. The students must have a valid score in JoSAA. Also, for similar top-notch or tier 1 BTech colleges such as IITs, NITs and IIITs, the pattern of the entrance for BTech is the same.

Usually, the cutoff for DTU stays around 90, even for the reserved categories. Therefore, getting into B.Tech courses at DTU is difficult with a JEE Main percentile score of 90 or below. The cutoff also goes high and low every year, depending on the following factors: Number of aspirants registered, The difficulty level of the exam, Total number of seats available, total number of applications received for a particular program, and the category under which admission is sought. Therefore, it is very difficult to predict the exact cutoff and give an exact answer to this question.

For last year, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering was 27730 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in Jamia Millia Islamia [JMI].

Candidates need to be Class 12 pass with minimum 70% aggregate in five subjects including Physics, Maths and Chemistry and 70% in Mathematics in Class 12 from a recognised board to become eligible for the BTech programme. Moreover, the aspirant should have passed the qualifying exam from a recognised board. During the form filling and at the time of admission, candidate must hold the pass certificate for verification purposes.

NTA has announced the JEE Main 2026 exam date for Session 2. JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam will be held from 2nd April 2026 to 9th April 2026. The JEE Main Application Form 2026 for Session 2 will be available on the website.

The accepted entrance exam for admissions into BTech course at NSUT is always JEE Mains. Students need to qualify the eligibility as per the JEE Mains first. Then, they can apply for the UG Engineering course at NSUT. Then, students need to appear for JAC Delhi 2026 Counselling.

Yes, it is compulsory for candidates seeking BTech admission at Galgotias University to have studied Mathematics in Class 12. The university has specified the eligibility criteria for BTech admissions. As per the eligibility criteria, candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 50% (60% for some specialisations) in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Electronics/ Engineering Graphics/ Technical Vocational Subjects. Only the candidates who meet the above requirement are eligible for admission.

JIIT Noida JEE Main cutoff 2025 for the Round 1 had closing ranks between 70921 and 197144, with CSE being the most competitive for admission. While, Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design and Technology) had a lenient first-round closing rank of 197144 and was the least competitive for admission among the General AI category students.

If the candidates are applying for BTech courses other than BTech in Biotechnology, then the JEE Mains is a mandatory entrance exam for GGSIPU admission. For BTech in Biotechnology admission, candidates need to appear in either the IPU CET or CUET-UG.

Lateral entry BTech admissions at GGSIPU are done on the basis of merit in IPU CET.

Candidates can apply online for admission under Management Quota at NIET Greater Noida. Aspirants meeting eligibility have to fill out the form on the institute's website. Candidates need to register and login to access the form.

Northcap University (NCU) has a capacity of about 400 students. NCU is a small-sized coeducational higher education institution with an enrollment range of 2,000–2,999 students. 

The GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management BTech application can be completed online and offline too. Candidates who are planning to enroll in the course via the online process can visit the official website of the institute and register themselves with some basic details, such as name, email address, mobile phone number, etc. Further, with the login credentials, they can fill out the application form and pay the application fee online.

In the offline application process, candidates can download the application form from the institute's official website. After filling it out, the form must be sent via post or submitted in person to the relevant department.

KIET Ghaziabad has mentioned that it can allow candidates to apply for BTech admissions through their Class 12 board exam scores. However, it only does so under special circumstances which have not been mentioned.

Thus, it is possible to apply for BTech at KIET Ghaziabad directly after completing Class 12th. Candidates will need to contact the admission desk to find what conditions must be met to get direct admission.

YMCA University of Science and Technology accepts the JEE Mains/LEET entrance exam scores for admission to Bachelor of Technology. Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must have studied Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subject and Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship with 50% marks in the above subject taken together from any recognised Board/council. 40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category. Candidate who have passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector can also apply. or Candidate who have passed minimum 3 years Diploma Examination with at least 45% marks can also apply. 40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category.

JSS Noida accepts UPTAC for admission to the BTech courses. The JSS Noida UPTAC Cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 2. The Cutoff was released for different categories under the AI and the HS quota. For merit-based programs such as BBA and BArch, 85% in Class 12 can get admission at IGDTUW. But BTech, MTech, MCA, and MBA need entrance exams, and Class 12 marks will not be enough. Admission is through competitive exams such as JEE Main, GATE, and CAT. It is advisable to verify course-wise eligibility before applying.

Jamia Hamdard has not released the accepted JEE Main cutoff for BTech admission. However, aspirants need to fulfil the eligibiltiy and selection requirements for admission to BTech course. Jamia Hamdard accepts JEE Main for BTech admission. Candidates need to pass Class 12 examination with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and one of the following: Computer Science, Chemistry, Electronics from CBSE or any other Board with at least 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in aggregate to apply for BTech course.
