Top recruiting companies are Wipro, HCL, etc. Around 5% of students get internships in this college. The placement cell of the institute is just okayish and not very active. Also, some non-technical companies visit the CTIT Jalandhar's campus to offer internships.

RBU generally holds a higher rank than CTGI in national and regional rankings like NIRF and Times Higher Education.
