After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced

Yes, IIT Palakkad offers a 4-year BTech specialisation in Mechanical Engineering. Though the college does not offer EEE it also offers Electrical Engineering. Students who qualify for these course through JEE Mains can get admission through the counselling process.

Among the different branches at IIT Palakkad, the CSE specialisation had the strongest placements with average packages of INR 17.45 LPA in 2025.

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to the BTech and Integrated BTech courses for multiple All India categories.

For the General AI category, the cutoff for the BTech + MTech CSE course ranged from 42737 to 537200. As per this range the most competitive affiliated college was Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology.

NIT Kurukshetra gives BTech and MTech programmes, as well as MBA, MCA, and PhD programmes across Engineering, Sciences and Humanities and Social Sciences streams. NIT Kurukshetra is famous for its BTech course. Admission is based on JEE Mains rank and counselling. Mohan Babu University and Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology and Research both are renowned universities for B.E. / B.Tech. However, in terms of affordability, Mohan Babu University is a better option since the total tuition fee for Mohan Babu University is INR 460,000 - INR 1,000,000 and the total tuition fee for B.E. / B.Tech at Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology and Research is INR 620,000 - INR 1,440,000. In the total fees that students generally end up paying the university or the college, various other components are also included, such as the exam fee, application fee, lab and other charges.

The National Institute of Technology Raipur is recognised as the Institute of National Importance and is funded by the Government of India under the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007. Joining NIT Meghalaya for ECE is worth it if you want the prestigious "NIT" tag, are comfortable in a remote/transitional campus, and plan to pivot into IT or software roles.

However if you are interested in core Electronics and Semiconductor jobs, the opportunities and infrastructure may be limited.

The ECE curriculum is decent enough to help ECE students easily transition into software engineering roles.
