To get admission to integrated BTech-MTech Civil Structural Engineering course at popular Indian colleges, you must secure at least 50 to 60% marks in Class 12 in the PCM subjects,  which may vary on the basis of the academic institution. For example, the IITs require at least 75% in Class 12 for admission to UG-level courses. For reserved category candidates, the marks eligibility requirement is usually relaxed by 5%.

Further, you have to appear for exams like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, or other state/university-level exams. You must secure a good rank in the entrance exam as it serves as the final call for admission.

After you successfully secure a decent rank in the entrance exam, you will have to appear for the counselling process conducted by universities where you will be allotted a seat according to your rank secured in the exam.

Birla Institute of Technology Pilani is one of the top know college for the Engineering students. The institute has been ranked 11 by the NIRF 2025 Ranking under the 'Engineering' category. As of now, IIT Delhi has released the placement data 2026 that is updated till Dec 2025. As per the report, a total of 1,275 offers including PPOs have been. More than 1,140 students have been placed during IIT Delhi placements 2026. The highest package 2026 has not been released yet.

Above 300 PPOs have been already made this year, which is 33% higher as compared with 2025. 35 international offers were made in 2026. Top recruiters such as Amazon, Accenture, Google, Goldman Sachs and American Express visited the campus.

Identified as an 'Institute of Eminence', the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras or IITM) was established in 1959 as a public technical and research university. It is the third IIT to be set up by the Government of India and is autonomous in nature. The institute recently launched the country's first online BSc Programme in Programming in Data Science. IITM is also known for its Quality Improvement Programme (QIP),  which is sponsored by the AICTE  (All India Council for Technical Education).

Full Tuition Fee Waiver– It is offered to the most economically backward students having a family income of less than INR 1 LPA during the previous financial year or current assessment year.

2/3 Tuition Fee Waiver– It is available to economically backward students having a family income in the range of INR 1 LPA to INR 5 LPA during the previous financial year or current assessment year

Amrita School of Engineering in Coimbatore is part of the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and gives Engineering and Doctorate courses to students. The flagship programmes include BTech, MTech, and PhD. Amrita Coimbatore admission is conducted on the basis of the Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE). For the M.Tech and PhD admissions, students have to appear for the GATE test. The NIT Rourkela GATE CCMT cutoff 2025 is determined based on a few key factors:

1. Total number of seats available: The cutoff primarily depends on the total number of seats available in medical colleges across the country for that particular year.
2. Number of candidates appearing for the exam: The larger the number of candidates appearing for NEET, the higher the competition and the higher the cutoff scores.
3. Difficulty level of the question paper: If the question paper is perceived to be difficult in a given year, the cutoff scores tend to be lower to account for the tougher exam. Conversely, an easier paper may result in higher cutoff scores.
4. Normalisation process: NEET UG uses a normalisation process to ensure fairness across multiple sessions of the exam. This normalisation takes into account the difficulty level of each session's question paper.

After analysing all these factors and ensuring a fair and equitable selection process, the final cutoff for each category is determined by SVNIT Surat, which is the governing body for CCMT admissions. The cutoff marks are published after the declaration of results.

As per the Shiksha verified reviews, the placement rate for DTU is 90%. The the highest international and domestic package offered during DTU placements 2025 was INR 1.8 Crore per Annum and 85 LPA.

Yes, IIT Guwahati is considered to be one of the top IITs. Although it is not as famous as IIT Delhi or Madras, the institute is ranked quite high for Engineering programmes. On the basis of NIRF 2025 report, IIT G ranked at #8. The top seven places were occupied by other IITs only. When compared with newer gen of IITs, it holds a better standing and status quo. Also, IIT Guwahati was the sixth IIT to be established. Hence, yes, it usually falls in top to mid-tier IITs.

The average package offered during IIT BHU placements 2026 was INR 29 LPA. In 2025 session, the average package offered was 24.49 LPA. An improving trend was witnessed as compared with previous year.

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced

WBJEE Counselling 2026 was conducted in two rounds, namely Round 1 and Round 2, followed by the Defence quota counselling. 

According to the placement report 2025 released by the Institute, NIT Warangal recorded placement rate of 79.3% in 2025.
