This university provides good facilities to the students .

Placements: I am from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, and about 95% of students get placement in top companies through our courses. The highest package goes up to INR 25 lakhs per annum, while the minimum package goes up to INR 4 lakhs per annum. 95% of students get internships in top companies as well.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University have a very good free wi-fi connection for the students of our courses. The classrooms are very neat, clean, and well maintained. The quality of the food here is also very good.

Faculty: At Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, the teacher-student relationship is very good. Here, the teachers help the students in every possible aspect. The teachers are very well qualified; some are Ph.D. holders, while some are M.Tech., and 95% of students get good marks.

It provides a better campus life than many IITs.

Placements: According to the NIRF report for 2023, 164 B.Tech., 11 M.Tech., 68 MBA, 4 Integrated MBA, and 13 B.Arch. students were placed during SMVDU placements in 2022. The median salary packages offered to B.Tech. and M.Tech. students are 4.6 LPA and 4.02 LPA, respectively. In B.Arch. courses, the median salary package offered is 2.6 LPA.

Infrastructure: Lecture recording facilities are available in four lecture halls. Facilities include high-definition cameras, audio systems, interactive projectors, and computers. These facilities are extensively used by faculty members to record their lectures.

Faculty: As I am currently studying at this university, I can say with pride that I have become a better person both academically and intellectually. The relationship between faculty members and students is very cordial. It gave me an opportunity to excel in my area of interest. Students never find themselves lost in a concept or professors not being able to rescue them.

Other: There are many sports activities.

Our college has great workshops and labs.

Placements: On-campus placements are good, but better opportunities can be found off-campus. Many students got internships at IIT Jammu, IIT Delhi, and DRDO. Top recruiting companies are Maruti Suzuki, Bosch, and Wipro. Our alumni are working at MNCs like Tesla.

Infrastructure: The library and labs are good. The campus is green. It has cool weather most of the time. Classrooms are great. We've got good Wi-Fi facilities in the hostels. You need to either change your SIM card in order to call or port it to a postpaid plan. There are some issues regarding lights as most of the electricity is generated using solar panels. The network connectivity is slow as well.

Faculty: Faculty members in the mechanical department are great. Teachers are pretty helpful by nature. All the lab instructors are great as well. You need to study some interdepartmental subjects in your 1st year and, perhaps, in your 2nd year. Overall, all experiences are great.

My college My dream My Rules .

Placements: This is a very good college for students. The highest package in mechanical engineering is about INR 15 lakh, and the lowest is about INR 7 lakh. Nearly every student gets internships. Some people get paid and some are unpaid at different IT companies and other good companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very nice. There are five hostels for boys and two for girls. Academic block is also good. There are many departments. One sports complex and a huge sports stadium. There are many games available, like cricket, volleyball, basketball, etc.

Faculty: Teachers at this college are very helpful. They take class every day and soothe the doubts of students. The lab is also available, and lab assistants are also available, and they help the students. The first semester is very difficult for all students because they are new in this line of work.

Other: Mechanical engineering is a royal course. Mechanical engineers were in high demand at the time. We have to try to get campus placement.

Placements: Our college provides average placements. Top recruiting companies for our course are Maruti Suzuki, Bosch, etc. Many students are working in MNCs like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. Students of the 2nd and 3rd years got internships at IIT Delhi, IIT Jammu, IIT Madras, and IIT Guwahati.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Wi-Fi is available in every department and classroom. Our college has a huge central library. It has good labs. The central workshop is the best. The infrastructure of every hostel is the best. Wi-Fi and LAN ports are available in our college. Our college provides good sports facilities. The food served in the mess is average. The auditorium is very good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course is relevant and makes us industry-ready. The AET club teaches skills for the new industry. The difficulty of semester exams is average. The semester is divided into minors and majors.

Other: The campus is very good and beautiful. It is lush green. It has a very calm and pleasant environment. Our college has many clubs like a music club, a dance club, a theater club, a tech club, and an AET club which helps to develop students in all manners. Our college conducts fests regularly. The crowd is less on campus.
